Question

Is it possible to use a cloth simulation mesh from an external modelling/animation package to script it to animate/deform in sync with the same model it was simulated on outside sl? for example. animate yr av in blender while simulating a cloth item on yr av. then bake that simulation into a mesh animation on that cloth item. then upload to sl the animated cloth mesh, to be worn on yr av, and scripted to deform in sync with the walk /leg movements of yr av? whew!!! that wasa mouthful lolol

No. That would be great, but it's not possible. That's one  big limitation of mesh. It's why so much new clothing  looks like a wet suit. You  can't even use flexi properties on mesh items. The best you can do to simulate movement is to create multiple mesh  models, link them  on top of  each other, and then switch  them from  visible  to invisible. It's kinda clunky, but it works.
