Looking for a Photography Community

Hello all.

I've been into SL photography for as long as I've been in SL, however I've never had any photography friends really.  I'm looking for a SL group, hangout or online group that talks and possibly collaborates. Is there any out there?  I've got myself on Flickr, but there is no talking.  I just feel the need to find some like minded SLers.

Hi, I saw this post after replying to another post but I think my answer might be helpfull to you as well so I'm copying and pasting.

 

My name is 0THELLA, I'm the editor of MAGE Magazine and I invite you and any one else interested in Second Life photography to join our group. My personal experience in SL is that working alone can be very frustrating but working with a group allows me to improve at a much faster rate because group members often help with advice such as how to de-render objects in the background or providing SLURLs for the most photogenic landscapes they have discovered in SL, or what clothing designers produce the most detailed and photogenic costumes.

I joined Second Life little over a year ago and found that working with other artists like Sizzelle, DaniellaT, Lucas Wakefield, Roxaane Fyanucci, Ozymandius King and fellow builder Andressa DePrims has helped me to learn a lot about SL photography, machinima and building.

I joined this group recently but unfortunately I dont get on the times they have the photo hunts

But I do check out the photos others took and go to the locations....not quiet the same as being IN the competition but interesting still.
