First life picture

Hi , 

I have a question about the first life picture i can upload and post on my profile. Are those pictures secure? I heard that it is possible for others to steal them and post them on their profile. Is that true? And if it is true is there any way to prevent that from happening?

It's technically possible for anyone to steal any image once it is posted on the Internet.  Not difficult at all.  The best way to discourage anyone from stealing your RL profile photo is to do what most other SL residents do ..... post a phony picture or a cartoon that nobody would want to steal (like mine).
