  1. Thank you, LadyCandyLips, and welcome to Second Life
  2. Thanks for the reply, Hatake. I don't use any third party software in SL, but the problem has remained fixed. I still have no idea what caused it or cured it, but it works normally now
  3. Thanks, dd Temin. I had updated to the lates viewer a month or so ago, but the ESC key worked until two days ago. Now, today, it works again as usual. I have no idea why, but I'm glad it fixed itself, and I'll remember the SHIFT-ESC keys if it happens again. I'm so grateful for everyone's help.
  4. Thank you, Eric, for your response. For whatever reason, when I went into 2nd Life to try the SHIFT-ESC, today, it magically corrected itself, and the ESC key works perfectly again. Yesterday, I had tried rebooting my computer, etc., and nothing fixed it, but today, it works again. Just a 2nd Life anomaly, I guess. I appreciate your help and will keep that in mind if it happens again.
  5. I am unable to use the ESC key to change my camera view to the default (behind avatar). This worked fine for 6+ years, so I must have somehow done something to change it. How can I get my ESC key to revert back to default camera view after editing an object, etc.? Any help is very much appreciated.

The Received Items folder is not like your "Recent" folder where items stay a short time and then go by themselves into regular inventory. I find the "Received Items" folder very helpful, as I sometimes buy something in a hurry and then try to remember the name so I can find it. This way, everything I bought and haven't yet put into inventory is right there in front of me. A big improvement. Not quite. "Recent" is just a tab on the inventory view, nothing actually moves on its own. By default, items will show there as recent until you next relog but you can click on the little gear symbol in the inventory view and change the recent filter. I have mine typically at 3 days but you can set what you wish. It's just a search filter, nothing more, nothing less. Items were already in your inventory so never moved on their own. Received Items is the inbound repository for items bought on Marketplace and delivered by Direct Delivery. My issue here is that if i'm lazy and wear something while it resides in that folder, it doesn't show as a worn item on the "Worn" tab in inventory view. Better inventory management would address this but that's what happens anyway. Thank you--now I understand "Recent Items" better

  8. Thank you so much, Chrissy Ambrose. I had been away from 2nd Life awhile and just moved my marketplace items to Direct Delivery. After making a "test delivery," for the life of me I couldn't find that "Received Items" folder. Of course, I was searching regular inventory. Your explanation was extremely helpful.
  9. I have a magic box, rezzed in-world, with an item for sale in it. I have cleared my cache, closed my browser, downloaded and used Firefox instead of IE .. still no luck. I'll put in a ticket. Thanks so much for your help, however.
  10. I'm trying to start an online vendor again after a couple of years' hiatus from SL. I can't access the "Manage Inventory." I go to "My Marketplace," and "Merchant Home," which brings me to the TOS. After accepting the TOS, nothing changes on the page, and there are no management tools. Is anyone else having this problem, or (surely not ;) could it be operator error? Thanks for any help.
  11. I have uploaded a tiny picture to use for forum posts or blogs. How can I set a pic as my badge or forum pic in v 3.2.1? I can't find an option in preferences or settings. I can't remember where I found the ability to put the current one in there, but it's obviously too small. Any help is appreciated. Thank you. ----------------- Thank you for the solutions below. I have bookmarked the pages, also, for future reference. Your quick help is much appreciated. I'm new to the forums/blogging end of this.
