Thanks David I did vote and comment on that bug report. I am not sure what is causing this issue, I mentioned in my original post that I had this experience in the past with one of the earlier versions of Viewer 2, in fact if you google the issue you can find links to the same problems with that earlier version. I assumed they fixed the issue since once I decided to try Viewer 2 it worked. And one odd thing I did try the Snowglobe version of the viewer at that time, the SL viewer 2 gave me the DNS error, the Snowglobe version using the SL viewer 2 coding worked fine. I am pretty sure by now this isn't a problem with my ISP or with my computer, this is on their end.
