    Graphics Designer looking for work

    What can I do/have done before: I can design any multimedia medium that has to do with sound, graphics and video to bring them in-world and make anything that would catch your eye attention. I can build in-world, and I have built roleplay and mall sims before in second life. I have experience in traffic and sales management as well as designer skills. I am owner of 3 different mesh stores and owner to 1 based on prims and sculpts.

    Design Portfolio: You can see my past design works such as logotypes, web sites, flyers, book covers and others alike in the forum signature, at the very end of this post.

    Traffic, sponsorship and profit solutions: I have managed a roleplay sim before on my own for sales and profit solutions with about 15,000L per week and with a traffic of 20,000. Also got several sponsorships agreements done for my project at the time that provided us with a free online database for SL combat purposes, free web hosting and domains.

    In-world store: I have a still running fashion business that was rather famous back in 2009, when it started, earning about 500$ USD per month, for during the first year. You can check my portfolio at my signature of the forum.

    What am I expecting/Who am I:

    I have studied graphic and multimedia arts and my timezone is GMT, London/Lisbon timezone. I am looking for anything that I can be a part of, mostly companies that are in need for any sort of help in the fields refered above, or just new experiences be it in design to land sales management, anything. A couple years back I did a logo and ad for a client which I can't remember, it was an organization that cared for the dogs after the war in Iraq, feeding them and such, I was going to donate at the time but couldn't, so now I am looking for organizations alike to sponsor, any charity events, send them my way.     Owner position available for SL Store

    VOID is my store, (look up my name under market place or check my forum signature - I can't post the link here due forum rules)

    The store:

    It has been around since 2008 and has a lot of good market place reviews. It has caspervend vendor scripts and it's complete package, paid land for some months to host the mainstore, a reliable build, subscribe o matic followers and is a member of a lot of old school groups to promote items at. The store returned me good amount of 550 USD per month. Then I got a RL job and I stopped 'caring' for it, with proper attention can do better than what I am doing right now. I also don't have marketing skills.

    The reason:

    Unhappily I am needing money to pay for my super expensive art college, my mom is the only one working here at home and she's very tired, I want to have enough money so she can relax a little and also I need to graduate, my grades are high but so are the costs of this course and then there is my pet too...

    What I expect:

    I could keep VOID and it's income that gives me but I need an ok amount so things at home can relax, financially and I can put our lives straight and in a ok state. It wouldn't serve me as portfolio in RL so I may as well sell it for the right price and leave SL to other projects while I am studying.

    How to update my store to the new ongoing events?

    Fellow designers, I own a store for a long time, I was MIA for a long time too, and now would like to update it once a week, can anyone point me in the right direction to where can I join hunts/events/blogs or even good malls with good traffic? Is there such a hub for info for designers? So I can get the word out again and re-gain my fan base? I'm a little lost here, a lot has changed. Thanks in advance.

    Art movement for original content

    Hello merchants. Perhaps it's just me inspired by recently learning history and culture of arts at college but I think there should be a movement to promote original designs, by us as content creators/artists. I know internet doesn't take kindly to new ideas, but here are my thoughts.

    The market place is filled with either badly designed stuff or game rips, the later being the most frowned upon back when mesh was implemented, but I see it now being dealt with an upsetting normality.

    There should be a vanguardist movement to promote and link all stores that use a level of quality and time spent into their designs, those that do not download templates and assets from DAZ; turbosquid, or other online stores and then just click and import to Second Life.
