As a content creator and business owner in sl I fail to see what all the fuss is about. Nothing will change. at present there are all types of people in SL including those with professional skills right down to those who cannot even rez a cube. Once meshes become live there will still be all sorts of people in SL as above.
Why is it people only ever see the negative side of things. Meshes will enable new content to be created and will certainly mean that some can sell their creations as is the case currently with prim and sculpty items. But it will not mean that the SL world will suddenly become a place of have and have nots.
If you are unable to create things outside SL there is nothing to stop you learning. there are plenty of tutorials and people willing to help.
