Through the years, I've learned that the best course of action to take when someone writes something truly repulsive is to sit there and write them a reply consisting of the most vile, hateful things with which I can come up... cancel it, then take a walk or a nap... meditate for a while or whatever it takes to calm myself down, then come back and post something that's perhaps just as confrontational, yet more composed and much better thought out....Dres (Unfortunately, I forget to do this far too often... especially when I've had a few.)
I have written some very scathing replies myself, only to delete them and pass on by. It can be very therapeutic. :^)

Actually you can. I modified my movement keys to match the way I have always configured them in online games that I have played through the years. It takes a little work to do it, but in "YourViewerNameHere"\app_settings is an xml filed named keys.xml. Use an xml editor, and go through and change the key bindings where you like, save the file, and then all you need do is keep a copy of it that you can paste into the folder on subsequent version upgrades.

Sometimes selecting an object in edit mode will cause unseen prims to appear. While that does not explain the problem, it is an easier fix than re-logging.

In the Developer Menu, under Rendering, Object-object occlusion. This can help with alpha's fighting each other over priority, if that is the bug you are talking about.
