That confuses me too. I mean if it's not a grandfathered sim, I don't get why you'd do that.

I can see wanting the grandfathered sim because it is less expensive in the long run for sure. But I see people in these forums "selling" their sim that aren't grandfathered and it confused me a bit. maybe their selling fee is less than Linden setup cost..

Ah, so maybe that particular one they use has walkable parts..mine doesn't, that's why I was confused.

I realize that, but..you can't walk on the center if you rez it in the sky? Or at least the one I purchased?

AH! I didn't think about traffic..I did think it strange that people pay to purchase sims from people and then have to pay the transfer fee. That must be it..

Thinking of purchasing a full sim and just wondered why people choose to purchase from others Vs direct? What's the benefit to doing that? Also, I don't see how to purchase a 30k sim direct..how does one go about that?

I know way back in the day we used to use megaprims but I thought maybe there was something more sophisticated today. This isn't just a huge flat prim, it has little hills, etc, looks really nice. I'll check on marketplace though and see if there are any.So basically I can rez a megaprim and then the surround in the air around it?

Hi-So I have seen a couple sims that use a regular sim surround for a sky platform. However, you can't build on these, and they use one that has a hole inside but my question is..what would you use that is full sim sized as your land? This is nicely landscaped base with hills, cliffs etc. I've tried clicking on the platform but it won't say what was used..can anyone direct me?

Thanks, so much good information here! Will look for those HUD's I keep hearing about how BD is really the best viewer for taking pics with all it does, I suppose one day I should sit down and watch some tutorials to figure it all out.

Hi all- So is there a HUD to store photo poses that you'd recommend for the sims that don't allow rezzing of photo stands or poseballs?Or another way to go about this? Also, is there a better bento face HUD out there than the Lel one?

hmm, so it might be possible to set up an experience to do that? I didn't consider that aspect..

I did do that, so offset is correct, this is just driving me nuts..

I have read so many articles my head is about to explode. lol. The answer seems to be no? But that seems silly. All I want is day when it's day SL time and night when it's night..I purchased a beautiful EEP package but I use it and it's pitch black now even though I selected 24 hour day and the offset for the timezone I am in..Can anyone help?

I have scripts that allow teleporting to the included landmark, but how do I get the actual experience to enable?Driving me nuts!!

Is there such a thing? Optimally I'd like say..a plate of food or mug of ale that plays an eating/drinking animation when attached and then disappears from the person's inventory. Is this possible? I searched in Marketplace but maybe I'm not searching the correct terms..

That was it!!!! I had PS set to CYMK for prints I was doing, and I guess that is the default for new images I have set. WHEW. Thank you SO much. I would have never figured this out.

Ok, so I've narrowed it down..hopefully someone has a fix. The image of any size and either .jpg or .png look great in PS and if I just look at a thumbnail of the photo. I emailed it to myself it looks fine When I post it, whether to Flickr, or Discord it looks grayish green. Going to look at the image on my sons computer and see what he sees but for now I am at a loss.

Ah,hopefully!While researching sizes some people used this size but didn't mention what resolution. I'll lower to 75 and post that one and see what it looks like. thanks! Edited to say..no, unfortunately still looks the same. Now I'm wondering what version other people are seeing 😞 Does her gown look bright pink to you? Maybe it's just the difference between my 4k monitor and mobile phone viewing.

I set this png photo to be 2048x2048 300 dpi. First photo is how it looks on my mobile, second on my PC. Most of the other pics I view on Flickr look the same on both platforms, so am I doing something wrong? This is so frustrating 😔
