This is what Mesh looks like to me - The top pic was taken tonight - the others at a live event last Sunday. The one at the live event was bad because for some reason the whatever it was the person was wearing practically swallowed the dancefloor and as you can see from the AVs standing near by - it towered above them. Sometimes - if your mesh outfit doesn't have whatever underwear most have - I see naked bits of people, and their private areas too. lol

Horrible isn't it - I just don't have the funds to get a new computer, so can't even begin to search for one. So sad that the changes are affecting some more than others. I've been inworld since 2006, and really will feel the loss of the impact on my gaming. LL - plllleeaasseee can you get me and Czari new computers!?! - just figured it was worth an ask. Lol

Have I found the one item that didn't exist before Mesh??? I haven't got a mesh compatible viewer because my computer is too old and I can't find a viewer that works without crashing every half a second, so for now, I am stuck with an old viewer. Shopping for items is beginning to be a chore, because everything is going Mesh - even some sims are unvisitble now because of it - but thats how it is now. I don't begrudge the train of progression in technology, just sad to be left standing on the platform waving it goodbye - lol. Anyway - so that little rant over with, I was looking for an oversized shirt/night shirt/ boyfriend shirt - an when entering all those into the Marketplace I only find Mesh items. Surely these were in existance before Mesh, in a decent quality?

Anyone have any ideas on any nice scenic, natural places to vist? Such as forests, meadows, nature trails, etc? I have a non-mesh viewer, that is several years old, as my computer is ancient and doesn't handle the more advanced graphics, and so if it is a no mesh sim - all the better. Thanks

Whats not working for me over the last couple of days: Group chat Group Notes Rezzing and loading is slow. Anyone know of any major issues. Im in the UK if that makes a difference.

I have had this weird thing happen is chat, and I thought it was something to do with a translation thing, but I'm not so sure. Everytime someone talks it says: "[13:08] XXXXX YZ (XXXXX YZ) say,............" It used to be: "[13:08] XXXXX YZ (XXXXX YZ): ............" So how can I go back to the " : " ? and get rid of the current "say" ? - which also bugs me because it is grammatically incorrect! Lol Thanks

Don't know if this is relevant but I'm a basic account holder - Anyway - lately I seem to be losing a lot of things. I was just decorating my club for an event, and I lay down 2 items and they just vanished. The most valuable thing I lost was my AO a few months ago - I accidentally dragged a folder onto my AV - and my AO just vanished - I never got it back, and I never worked out what happened - but I keep getting scripting error messages saying a particular standing pose is missing - even though the new one doesn't have it , and doesn't have that pose mentioned in it. Anyway I checked 0,0,0 co-ordinates, and did an area search on varying parts of the sim, and the 2 items were not there - any suggestions on what I can do to get my items from my club back?

I have an annual Winter / Christmas Formal Ball planned at my club, and sadly the wonderful artiste we usually have perform, is unavailable. It was someone you guys recommended before - and he was just amazing!!!! So - basically - I'm after some suggestions please. Must do soft jazz/ratpack/ ballroom type songs, be singing live, and hopefully is good. I usually try and see the acts before we book them - so if they have Youtube videos, all the better as it's faster and I'm running out of time. Oh and our usual times of shows are between 1pm - 4pm slt. Thanks for your help, in advance! :)

Anyone know of any Holiday Jazz / Christmas working URLs for the radio. I got loads last year - but none seem to be working, so I thought I'd post again. Thanks in advance.

Any ideas on what to do about it, and/or why it's happening? Everytime I change a station in my club, I put in the link, and we loose all music. I have several urls that I know should work, but they don't. I've been careful about spaces before and after, and watched for any errors, but nothing happens. I can't even get back to a station that worked earlier! It's getting embarrassing after a DJ at the club finishes, only to have the place plunged into silence. Any idea on what is going on?

I'm not really sure of the protocol on this one. I bought a brilliant item for Halloween, listed as copy and modify. As it turned out it wasn't quite what I'd expected, and not copy or mod, but I do like it loads, so while I can't use it as intended, it's still cool..... it was a sky platform. So then I tried to land in it to get a closer look around, and fell right through it. It took me a while to realise the whole thing was phantom, and therefore entirely unusable by me. It was quite expensive for me, so I contacted the seller, as the ad in Marketplace had no mention of it being Phantom. I had no response. I IM-ed AND notecarded the seller 2 days later and still no response. Granted it could be that the seller is away, but I don't really know what to do about it now. Any ideas? Thanks in advance. :o)

Wow! Thank you all, so much for your replies. I'm really torn now. The Sim I am on does experience high lag waves, which we've never got to the bottom of, and the idea that I would add to it, certainly adds a great level of dread. The items are all transparencies of tinsel, and underneath, some star lights hanging, again on transparencies. They are static, so I'm guessing non-scripted, and just sit there in the air, making a festive border around the club. I needed to rezz 20 individual panels of each (40 in total), and then I linked them all together, as this is what I was told to do by the reseller, but I haven't bought a box from her, as I wanted to know more before I did. From what you are saying, in theory, I should be ok to use it, but only for a few seconds every it would look ok, and on top of it - it will create more lag. Awww...darn it! And I thought I had a way of increasing my prim count! Ssssiiigghhsss. I guess I will just have to keep on writing that wish out, on my Christmas List for a few more years yet! LOL I will read the prim saving thread that was mentioned, but in the meantime - thank you all so much for posting!

I recently heard about Primsaver Rezzboxes. The club I manage, in a parcel, currently, with all the Christmas decorations, has just one prim left. And iI was talking about prims with one of the regulars, when she mentioned she sells these Primsavers as a reseller for a well known brand. The only thing I could link together was 40 prims which is the christmas club border. I haven't bought the item from the regular yet, because I like to know what I'm buying. My question is, would I be safe to use with just one prim left? Or are there any downsides I should be aware of. Thanks in advance

I am hosting an event in the next couple of hours, and I need a Jazz/ratpack style music stream. I had planned on Martini In The Morning, but I just tried to enter a URL, only to find its not working! The two other Jazz streams I have also aren't working, and have been confirmed as old. A massive Booboo on my part! :( Anyway - has anyone got any streams that would be similar??? Need it urgently. Many Thanks in advance! :)

I don't know what's wrong - I can't seem to stay logged in for more than a few seconds and then my Pheonix viewer crashes out to complete removal from my toolbar on my computer. Not had this before and it was fine yesterday. Anyone else experiencing problems?

My club I manage has recently shifted down quite a few places in the Classifieds Listings, and now is like halfway down the 3rd page, and I want to do more promotion and marketting of it and bump it up again. I have never placed the Classifieds myself - so I don't know how it all works. I found the wiki to be unhelpful - I am on an older Phoenix Viewer 1.5.1.373 (don't know if that makes a difference). Is it traffic driven? Or cash driven? And if so - how do I find out how much we would have to pay, to have us in the sidebar of "Top Paid classifieds"? I can't check with anyone, as they are away at the moment. So I thought I'd come to you guys. Thanks in advance for any advice. :o)

Can anyone tell me how (or point me to a wiki that tells me how) to create a drop down blue box, that upon entry to a parcel would off a group joiner, LM, or info on the place? I really am looking for it to be more of a group joiner, as the one I bought gives a link that you click on in your chat history, which has been unsuccessful in the past for a few newer people who wanted to join and couldn't work it out. Hi, Thank you all for your replies. I thought about the extra characters and such... but it was a problem that started suddenly. I will double check this. Relogging doesn't help, neither does the toggling. And it's the whole parcel that goes dead - which is why I too had thought it was something I was doing wrong. I merely copy from a single line of URL in a notecard that worked for someone else, hence me knowing its current, and paste into the Audio Tab into about Land - where the line usually goes. It probably is me doing something wrong, but it's just weird. Thanks again for your help.

Any ideas why lately, when I go to change the media stream in a club I manage, even though a URL is current, I go from music to dead air, and someone else has to come in and change it to another station, and then re-enter the URL I just entered to get it to work. It will change almost instantly for them, but I just seem to 'break' it everytime. Im in an old version of the Phoenix Viewer.

I'm sorry if this is the wrong place to post. I am looking for a live singer, to perform in a Euro friendly timezone, in my club, that would be suitable for a formal ball type event this month. A little like a lounge room, jazz type singer. Not too karoke sounding, and a reasonable cost too as we aren't getting the tips I wish we were, in the club. Lol. I don't know if there is a place anymore, that has like listening booths of artists? I know there used to be, but all my old LM's aren't working os I don't know if it was one of those fly by night type phases in SL. We've had artists such as Mankind Tracer and Maximillion Kleene perfom at the club before, and we all had a blast, but we want an artist of a more jazzy or lounge type genre for this event, and someone I can listen to on youtube, or inworld beforehand too, as I am very picky about the calibre of person we have performing. Any suggestions gratefully received. Thank you :)

Dazler - that's exactly the one! And yes - it is the layin down cat that balls up into a spherical prim type shape. Weirdly what I found helped was buying the cat a buddy - and setting him out in the same parcel. Now the sitting up cat balls up. Lol. I think it's a ploy to buy more of the same colour of cats - lol. The only issue is now that when I personally leave the place - the cats ball up again! They must love me! LOL And in the club - it's not just me that sees them this way - and clearing the cache didn't help. Shame - because they are really really great cats. And Sy - don't put da kitteh in da hamzster ball!!!! LOL Thanks for your replies everyone! )
