What is this thread about ... or should be in MY opinion?
1.) every sighting of a Belliseria house that either passed by or could be grabbed, and/ or informations of WHERE that grabbed one is located and/or informations which region has been released and WHEN exactly SLT.
2.) descriptions of HOW you try to get a house and HOW you finally succeeded, at what times with what method.
All these informations are vital for the refreshing community!!
3.) Jubilation about a house obtained, congratulations and wellcome messages for the new neighbours but also mentions about being unlucky and sooo sad about it and "cheer up!" messages and "next time you will succeed"
What does not belong here ... in MY opinion:
Complaining and whining and critizising the Lindens and their method of distribution, not because this in itself is forbidden but simply because THIS isn't the right thread for it. There is another thread specially created for that sort of thing ..
and another thing does not belong here ... endless criticisms of people who do not comply to this! Don't feed the trolls! I am not saying that @AlyceAdrift is a troll, but either she is rather inexperienced in forum communication or she is a masochist or enjoying the attention she gets ... in any case just IGNORE her!
Only sensible thing to do for her if she isn't any of the above mentioned is to leave this thread - MY opinion - I myself some time ago got this kind of *****storm in another thread of this forum (much less! but the same type) and when I realized I had lost and the majority was against me (though I myself am STILL of the opinion I was right and they were wrong) I made a final very neutral statement and left the thread for good. Was good for my nerves ... and for my reputation
Can i say i made that thread and it wasn't to whine or complain, it was to vent about trying to get a home, and a member of linden lab even made a comment saying he knows we appreciate what there doing ! I will leave it at that , I just got a home yesterday , So I know how frustrating it can be , I've been trying since release. So take care and good luck everyone😊

It's an unfortunate way to have to do this and I hope LL comes up with a better process. The idea of users of my web application going through this process would not allow me to rest until a better process could be implemented. Anyway - I'm happy to have a home and I hope everyone else gets one very very soon.

Have you opened the map or been inworld to fly around Bellisseria to actually see just how MUCH work has been done? I check the map every day out of curiousity, and every day I see more and more showing up. They ARE working hard and yes, it takes time ... Rome was not built in a day. Yes, the homes are not being spit out off of a conveyor belt every other minute. Quantity is not better than quality. Not sure about you, but I don't want to pay premium prices for something that looks like a ***** hole. I'd much rather wait it out and get something well done, that I can be proud of and enjoy living in.
Also, and this is not just directed to you. To anyone in here saying they are homeless .. you don't have to be homeless whatsoever, you are choosing to be homeless. Folks could rent a skybox for 50L a week, stay with a friend etc. There are literally hundreds of extremely cheap options that are convenient as far as having a temp home base to go too. And it can be done without having to get an old Linden home and worry about the time it takes to abandon.
I feel confident in saying that a HUGE number of us who have homes now, may have just gotten them this past week (myself included) ... ie: spending months of time, rl hours, trying and hoping to get a home. And yes, it is frustrating at times .. But this post of yours is unbelievably enitited and downright rude... You are not paying Linden/Mole salaries, so perhaps work on being less demanding of their time and show a wee bit of appreciation that this continent is even being constructed for us in the first place...
I'm pretty sure she wasn't meaning to be rude shes just venting her frustration! We all know what a good job there doing !

If SL would frustrate me so much that i need to vent the same over and over i'd lock myself in Sansar and not come back.
And again for some complainers... no i don't have a home or boat...( so you can skip that insult from your lists) but if i decide to get/find one, i know the hard banlist will find a nice source of names here.
Not saying my level is always so high, sweet or warm, but the constant flood of snowflakes is worrieing for the future fro Bellisseria and the whole of SL.

If you read my earlier post I said they are doing a wonderful job and I do appreciate what there doing! So I know I can Vent about not having a home while appreciating there work! So Everyone please continue to Vent ! But make sure you know that Linden lab is working really hard for us😘 Satisfied now?

I made this post for us without a home to do some venting and why would anyone want to pushback? Why can't we Vent whats the problem?

Sorry someone was rude to you , Some people act like know it alls and don't have any idea how to talk to someone kindly ! I encourage everyone to hang in there for a home even though i hate the way there being released. I waited 2 hours today just to have 1 pop up and wasn't quick enough to grab it 😭😭😭. I went back to basic membership. I will enroll later after everything dies down. Maybe I will have a better chance then.😀

I can say that each time I abandoned... the home was taken within seconds. The last one was abandoned by 2 people after me and scooped up by the 4th person.. all within a few minutes. Thank you and I hope you also get another one , where the homes you got the first time in a bad spot? Someone told me they wanted beach front that why they abandoned theres😄

@Patch Linden how about a SENSIBLE way to do this?
1. Let us go out to the new regions and look at the houses.. if one is not taken, click the mailbox and let us RESERVE it right there. Operative word. RESERVE. You do not have abandon your old home right then.
2. The RESERVATION is good for 48 hours, time to pack up your old home neatly,abandon the old one.
3, Then go back to your reservation and CLAIM the new one.
Isn't that simple? less pain, less frustration.less network traffic (refresh, refresh, refresh), less broken keyboards...
Conversely..how about a WAITING LIST.. get on the list, when the house of your chose type comes available, you get it RESERVED and notice emailed/IM to you with the location.
Go to step 2 above.
Yeah I would love if they did it this way😀 don't give up! Hang in there 😍
