I'm specifically looking for a Host for a shift on Thur & Sunday 8-10pm You will be working with a DJ who will be DJing for a online gaming radio station so she will need extra help with greeting as she will also be greeting people in a chat that she is required to use for the radio station that she is broadcasting live in SL with and in other games. I don not think you can. As you have abandoned it, now it has become LLs property to resell or do what the wish with it. I honesly think if you want it back you woull have to repurchase it from LL as you clearly gave it back to them. If you did this on accident you might want to contact them and send a ticket https://support.secondlife.com/create-case/ or by calling the linden lab offices. However if you have waited to long since the abandonment it will look like it was not an accident. Hope this helps.

You should be able to find your event on the event posting page by clicking the date then finding time. Once you find it click the event when the description is displayed beside the calendar you can click edit from there to put it on the correct land. Also make sure you have the landing point set on your land set in your About land to a certain point on your poperty if it is set to anywhere or the wrong cordinates they may not make it your your place.

The fastest way to find out who would be to use the trasaction history per the link https://secondlife.com/my/account/transactions.php?lang=en-US As long as this was not more than 30 days ago you should find the name there. BTW you should not get banned as long as a bunch of people did not report to Linden Labs in an abuse report. Even so they may just give you a warning but you never know. These days there are so many scammers it is hard to trust anyone or feel right about helping someone with just 50L. So that would be why you were kicked from the group you asked in.

I think you mean the Grid Crash of 2008. It was April 5 th. I remember it well because I was DJing a 24hour marathon for Relay for Life that night. We ran from the orignal location to a friends sim as all the mainland sims started crashing around us. There were about 3 of us left that were the last survivors on that sim until they shut down second life entirely, We kept the party going on offline as people listened in and use other ways to donate. There used to be more water around the edges of many of the mainland continents but as people who like to sell land persuaded LL to sell those uninhabited Supposedly Linden Protected Sims we started to lose those waterways. I a land seller that shall be unnamed (if you have been around I'm sure you could figure it out) started purchasing some of them on the second continent. I ran into this because I purchased water front land (which came at a high price back then) right next too the linden protected sim that was full of water and fun for all to play in only to have it bought buy a certain land seller. So don't always believe that Linden Protected land is really protected. If someone with enough money asks they will sell it no matter if it inconveniences others. So people wanting to buy the edge Sims have messed up some of this for everyone else.

These days it seems it depends on how old you are in SL Noobia offers free homes for players under 30 days old. There used to be a few islands that offered free houses but I'm not sure any of those are still around. I've played SL for over 8 years many things trend for awhile and disappear. I would say hit search and see if you have any luck.
