My avatar needs help! Everytime I log on, maybe once a month my avatar disappears and a weird black shape appears in the head region. I figured "Oh no biggie!" at first to then realize, this wouldn't go away! I put on different skins, different shapes, nothing helped. Alderbook Learning Institute will be opening by the New Years! Alderbrook Learning Institute is a school for all ages, big and small! It has been a dream of mine to open a school, originally I wanted to open up an elementary school but I quickly came to a realization that there are many elementary schools out there that are trying to achieve the best. Vice Principal: Keep in mind I will rely on my vice principal a lot. As Vice Principal I ask you help with furnishing the school, keeping track of staff, making sure staff are payed, managing Griefers, you are my right hand man/woman, you will be second in charge. Teacher: I ask all my teachers to follow three simple standards; 1) teach at least one class a week 2) attend mandatory staff meetings (once a month) 3) Try to stay organized! Some say they don't qualify as a teacher, and I say "Not all my teachers do, when you teach at an elementary school you don't need to meet standards, you teach what you lay out for them. Your classroom, your rules. Office Staff: Only two role are available Substitute Teacher and Counselors. As office staff, you essentially help run the school. From the careers listed above, you can determine what exactly you would do. Secretary, you sit behind a desk, advertise the school, send notices, schedule meetings, etc. Counselors basically give tours, enroll students, hire and interview staff, help students with troubles. Hello Ya'll, I am Nathen Beverly I have been in secondlife since 2008' currently I quit my long term job due to the lack of acceptance my boss and employees showed me. So I am starting fresh, and I am trying to apply for every management job that I see but every single time I am turned down. So I decided to put up a post here on the forums. I am extreamly skilled in a whole bunch of management eras. If it be... General Managing: Where I simply go around managing local chat, making the parcel/sim presentable for any future guests, as well as manage the finacial part of buiesness such as payroll, monthly & weekly spending, and profitable recording. Property Managing: I have managed several buisness that require property management. I consider myself a professional when it comes time for rentals. I have rented everything from a small 1/8 of a sim, to a full sim in very little time. Lag Managing: This is rather new to me, I know exactly what Lag is but finding the sorce of glitches, and horses/breedables running off the sim in a mere second is rather new. Its rather difficult and a process to go through and elimintate possible lagging objects. But after time the parcel clears up, and guests as well as the employees happier. As far as pay goes, I don't expect too much but enough to afford land and food for my breedables. This will be worked out as soon as an application is filled out and returned to you. Managaging Anything is truley my SL Dream! P.S.
