    I have a LAQ skin from ages ago and also an Al vula glow skin.  I might have to go back and just see whats new.  There are some nice ones, I found a good nipple tattoo and the creator put together a set of lighter ones for me at a good price, something she didnt have available but I had written her and asked,  those help.  A lot of the skins *are* expensive (and some more worth it than others) and I can understand what always makes me shake my head is those that charge to try a demo.  Its like charging to go into the dressing room in rl.  lol 

    I could really get obsessed with skins though gosh.  wouldnt it be cool if we could change skin hair and shape like this in the real world?  lol  thanks everyone!  still soaking in all the suggestions!  :)

    Can anyone recommend?  Its so hard to go from place to place in world and searching on market for highest rated, well... many of those do not look high quality to me at all- not that I am a snob, but its pretty obvious, sadly.  The faces are always nice enough but I am looking for something with better body details, like nipples. I try demo after demo but the nipples are never quite what I am hoping.  Back when I was a newbie (almost 5 years ago!) I saw a nude avi and she had the most lovely detailed nipples and I didnt get to talk to her and so I have always had it in the back of my mind since then.  I have even tried those add on nips you can wear but... idk.  I am unsatisfied with my avi's nips!  lol  Can anyone recommend a skin maker that makes something quality?  Not just the face and the rest is kind of *ok*.  Something someone puts work into and its photorealistic when they say it is!  Not just saying it is and its not really.

    Troubled by the loss of temporary textures with scripts

    HI all, I am needing some help.  I am flipping out too due to the loss of temporary uploads.  I use them *all* the time to see what textures work well with what I am creating and what does not.  Its only for my eyes while creating but I cant afford to just upload hundreds of textures that may or may not work.  I tried looking for the local thing you were all talking about but didnt see anything under uploads.  Can anyone explain or point me to a tutorial please?  If I cannot test textures on my creations, then I might as well stop creating and my entire sl business comes to a screeching halt.  Server side has been nothing but aggrivation for me.  thanks very much for any help!!

    thanks.  I've tried editing appearance too, but still that sometimes wont work (last night for instance).  Sometimes I just go away from the computer a bit to give it time, or otherwise just give up.  oh well.  seems everytime they are improving sl for us it only makes it more frustrating.

    I'm having a terrible time getting skins and clothing to rez on my avi too, I switch from viewer to viewer and no improvement.  Its really aggrivating!  I get to the point of giving up putting an outfit together at times.  I never had a problem before this but its sooo laggy now. Its extra frustrating as I am a clothes designer and it makes setting up the models take AGES!!!!  I have tried every rebaking trick in the book as well.  to no avail!

    How do I fix this texturing problem on sleeve???

    I got a prim shape to use as a flared sleeve, creating it seemed fine but with the solid colors, when worn, seem to make itself transparent when one edge goes over the other edge.  Its hard to explain...  I took a pic:

    The sleeve should just be round and mooth but chunks seem to go missing.  I know its an optical illusion of some sort... is there a way to fix this?  So that it wont do that?  I hope I am posting in the right place.  Its my first time making a sleeve like this and I had some patterned ones that worked fine and uploaded them all, I would hate to have wasted all the extra lindens on these solids now if they wont work, so hopefully someone knows how to fix this?  Thanks very much!!!

    so the email I got just now said:

    You are receiving this email because we have identified at least one active listing in your store that is still using Magic Boxes. In order to keep the listing(s) active, you will need to convert them to the Direct Delivery system.

    It also said:

    For the time being, limited-quantity items can continue to use Magic Boxes and will not be affected. "Limited-quantity" refers to items that the Merchant does not have rights to copy (such as breedable animals which are "no copy" to the seller).

    So, since I have migrated all my unlimited copy items to DD already and only have my no copy horse bundles still in my magic box, does this mean that they are just sending this email out to everyone?  Cause for the life of me I can't seeanything in there that isn't a horse bundle.  Anyone else in my situation get this email?

    they are back spamming in Kaemi again tonight, I've reported it to linden, the land owner and the renter on the land its rezzed, its also rezzed on linden land on the other side (shouldnt that automatically return???)  I'm getting occassional pop up even though muted the person and *attempted* (unsuccessfully it would seem) to mute the object.  The frustrating part is, this is sending out so many scripts that my slap n dash server is crashing and no one is getting to my shop, so now its affecting my source of income in sl.  grrrrrrrr.  Oh and last time it was just boxes, this time its boxes and humongoid boy parts.  :P  and of course under another screen name.   *rolls eyes and shakes head*... sucks that Linden doesn't seem to care about this, and its happening in abundance.  You think that would be a red flag of some kind, but no.

     

    edited to add- about ten minutes later: a Linden just showed up and sent all the objects away!  they are still on the linden land (go figure!) but at least my store can function for now (Til it happens again...!)

    they are hitting in Kaemi and Lordshore now.  my neighbors are having problems too.  If it is something you are wearing, wouldnt we all have to be wearing it to be affected?  I guess these boneheads have nothing better to do with their time, huh?  they chased a shopping customer from my shop this morning too.  so frustrating!!!
