  1. From a technical standpoint (diz hamster has a background in Media Arts) it's flawless, the camera work and editing is second to none the whole film flows in a very organic and beautiful way someone said that this is the best Second Life movie they have ever seen and I second that. Moving into the narrative it really feels like alot was covered and of course there will always be happenings and events that doesn't make it into the film but overall I felt happy watching it. The film truly captions the journey we have made this past year and I can't wait to see what's next. ♥

  2. BelliHammie said it best, so I will just second everything she said above because I iz a lazy hammie.   I must say building The Zoo-Palooza (ok BH built it I mostly came up with wild and crazy ideas) was the most fun and rewarding time I have ever had in Second Life. A big thank you to everyone involved, to our wonderful guests and to BelliHammie for being an absolute delight everyday. The Zoo-Palooza shall return next year bigger and better than ever, concepts that are being thrown around at Hammie HQ are Zoo-Palooza 2: Hammus Revenge, Zoo-Palooza 2: Arctic invasion and Zoo-Palooza 2: Hammiesaurgeddon. O.o

  3. Look I was young (a year ago) and needed carrots and that woman (points with ma little paw at the Krys hooman) said that it was for science, she lured me into her gypsy wagon with the promise of carrots. Diz is her in the piccie below (da Krys hooman) looking a beet shady now that I think of it yet kinda pretty for a hooman, she said "there iz carrots inside", and I happily ran on ma little feet inside (tap tap tap) then the door slammed shut behind me.

Wow, just reading back through the thread after I made my post, and I find actually nothing has in fact changed re their support.  That's exactly what used to happen - you'd never hear back from that anonymous faceless LiveHelp avatar.  I'm surprised to hear with their new upgrades that that is still happening.  Reinforces what I said above.  *sigh*

They have a support team https://www.meshbody.com/support (scroll down) also the livehelp group is very active.

Seams always look best from the side and back. :)

True but you will never get rid of it though, it's because it is two different mesh pieces and light bounces off their surfaces differently, only way is a body with a head attached to it.

  6. The Legacy body follows the Ruth standard and if the head doesn´t fully comply with this standard problems arise, this is Lelutka Andrea with male Legacy body and StrayDog skins on midday windlight and as you can see it´s almost perfect on the worst windlight of all. It's a bit visible from the front but I can live with that.

The Gianni fit works very well with Legacy as seen in the image below, the boots are ::GB::Nubuck fur boots also Gianni fit:

You can wear original one in same folder of Jake 2.0. Also if you didn't know yet, we got Jake 2.1 already.

Version 2.1 did not fix the problem and you really don't want to wear an older version of the body when there is a newer one available atleast I didn't, the wrists should never have been broken in the first place.

Depending on what kind of body build you want, and what type of apparel you're looking for, Gianni or Jake are probably going to be your best options. I haven't seen whether TMP Legacy's male body got much support yet (but whether it does or not, there are several threads totaling hundreds of angry posts about Legacy being an unfinished mess).

I had Slink and Jake 2.0, also tried Gianni demo, currently using Legacy male, and I must say it's by far the most complete and satisfying experience of them all atleast for me. For instance Gianni clothes work remarkably well with a little alpha work also some Jake clothes work ironically that doesn't even work with Jake 2.0 anymore since the wrists were changed resulting in clipping with long sleeved garments. One area in which the Legacy body excel is the neck area. In the image below I use StrayDog legacy skin on body and Lelutka Andrea head, windlight is midday. Another great thing is that the hand animations actually work and that can't really be said for Jake 2.0 for instance. Now I know some people mention the small gaps and it happens due to loss in precision when storing coordinates as floating point numbers. The long explanation: https://docs.oracle.com/cd/E19957-01/806-3568/ncg_goldberg.html. This is being worked on but it's obviously no easy thing to just correct since it happens due to a way SL handles said floating point numbers, but hopefully it can atleast be mitigated to some extent. Mind you this problem also happen on all other mesh the higher in the sky you go it's just on the Legacy body a few faint lines can still be seen on ground level and that happens because the body has more cuts than other meshbodies. These cuts mean however that the body is more round and has a better shape than other competing brands so it's a tradeoff at this point that hopefully will be fixed in the future. Oh and regarding support there are more and more Legacy items being released every week, check this for instance https://www.flickr.com/groups/legacyreleases/pool/page1.

The fact that you have to do anything at all to deal with any neck seam at all is a problem.  I wear Aesthetic, and the head fits perfectly.  No adjusting.  No nothing.  It can be done right.

It can work atleast with Lelutka heads it's almost perfect, this is with midday windlight which is more or less the most unforgiving light you can find:

@karynmaria Hmm...so stood there, waiting for their re-delivery page to load.

Gave up at one point and tp'd back home. After I did, the Edit 1.1 HUD dropped in, which isn't what I was wanting. I don't need a second HUD, just the body.

Back at their store a second time (groan) and that re-delivery page simply will not load; it just hangs. Had to give up and leave - just don't have time to be messed around.

Would be nice if they at least set up an auto-delivery for updates rather than expecting customers to wade through that most unattractive, blindingly white clinical atmosphere on the off chance that there might have been an update (there's no group for Legacy that I could find, so how the heck do customers know if there's been an update?), only to be greeted with their eternally hanging re-delivery page for their wasted time.

    Le grrrrrrr.

EDIT: I take that back - found the legacy group - it's just called Legacy Lovers in case any one else has struggled to find it.

https://www.meshbody.com/updates/ also join LiveHelp, Whats New Legacy and The Shops! Cafe inworld.
