Thanks for the info! I was hoping for a SL specific log, rather than the system-wide logs that Console shows. I have no folder for Second Life under Library/Application Support/ Is there a SL Viewer-specific logging ability? I want to see if I can figure out what the Viewer is trying to do when it crashes. Hey everyone, I'm having what may be a similar issue with my Mac OSX machine: just in the last couple of (3 or 4?) viewer updates, the viewer unexpectedly, and seemingly randomly crashes. I never used to have this problem. I want to save/look at the logs, but I'm not sure how to do that. Where can I find the logs, or what do I have to turn on in the viewer to start logging? Thanks in advance!

This is a great and useful thread, thanks for starting it! I especially found Penny's guide interesting, and I'm eager to go check my AV's proportions and tweak as necessary. Now, I wonder: does anyone have a solution for the dreadful hand shapes? They look like inflated rubber gloves to me. -Ziz

The pics everyone posted are great! I often like to put my AV to bed when I log out -- but he's always standing up when I log back in! (would be a nice touch if sitting and other poses were saved so they'd still be in force upon login.) I'll have to find me some blankets, and try the closing the eyes trick. -Ziz
