Mulloy has this unique looking table in the Happy Weekend sale.  It is 3 LI, with an acceptable number of triangles for the design (6662 for the High model), and good LOD -- even with the SL Viewer default it won't shift to Medium until 13.5 m.  Texture usage seems a bit high.  Also the base does break up at the Med LOD, so I wouldn't use it outside, but it looks to be a good table for indoor use.

I bought this. I didn't care for it as a dining table so I scaled it down to cocktail table size and it's perfect.

I do pity the people looking for a Stilt on Land ... preferably next to the sea.

On Pier is easy. I am looking for that, have two I really like and while hopping about idly with my two househunter alts that will expire on 31st have been offered tons of really agreable ones. I liked quite a lot of them just aswell and would have kept them. I found none I would have really preferred, at least not to an extend that would have been worthwile another year of Premium.

Stilts on Pier are all more or less the same and I like most of them. Contrary to many other GoH players I do not want them to be on the edge of nothingness. Not because I fear what might be put there and when but because I do not like to look into nothingness! ;)

Same might refer to Stilts on Water ... which I generally do not like.

But with Stilts on Land it is as difficult to get a real good situated one as it was with the Trads and the Vics. The ones that have seashore on one side are rare and sought after. I had two of them and abandoned in the very early days of Stilt release. But now instead of getting newly released regions with a fair percentage of really nice ones you are bound to get the leftovers, the many not nice inlandish ones nobody wants. :(

I was lucky to get a really good on-land in that first release. Part of my land extends into the water, which I have on 2 sides so I can easily keep a boat there if I wanted to. Decent landscaping too. Glad I kept it.

    OMG   🤣😂🤣😂

I've not encountered something like that in a very long time.

I really need to get out more.

This would have made a great outing for the Forum Cartel.

Not that anyone really seems to be into those kinds of things anymore but still would be fun

Love that dresser.  Did you edit or is that the way it came, with the lighthouses?  From where, if I may ask?

It's from Serendipity, pretty sure that's the name.

Very cute stuff but a lot is too many prims. That dresser is 6, which wasn't awful and yes, the objects are part of the piece. Can't remember off hand if it was modify. I assume I never looked because I like it as is :)

Lovely, inside and out!  I think I recognize that exterior shell; I have the Tortuga and Lauderdale ones and I love how they let us get soft, beachy colors like that pretty soft blue!

I like that the shell can go vertical in addition to horizonal. Kept the exterior color muted because I didn't feel it looked right otherwise. I started with a light orange ("Sunkissed") but it looked out of place with all the home so visible to each other.

Love it! And that bed would work well in a non-stilt I'm working on. Do you mind sharing where you purchased it?

It's from Infinite, called Leslie's Bed.

Texture change for the bedding and frame. Quite different textures from most I see too.

A lot of the furniture I've used has more prims than I normally would use but the house is small so it doable. Plus one doesn't need much landscaping so that's a savings right there.

The new Chez Moi kitchen is ridiculously cute, low LI & small enough to even fit a camper. Total win.

CHEZ MOI Quinn Kitchen Set - Exclusive to Tres Chic

    Bought this earlier today.

It even has animations built in. And a texture change HUD for cabinets and countertops. Huge plus.

Dislike the stools but that's an easy swap.

    @Elora Lunasea your pictures look a-ma-zing !

I do adore most of the brands that have been quoted already, so I'll only add Pepe skins for Lelutka... I really love the face skin, body is quite good as well and they do have quite fair skins (Moonbeam for example).

I really like the Pepe skins too - most are just a tad too young looking for me personally. There was one a while back before BOM hit that I adored, I should see if they updated it

  9. Well it appears my living situation has changed from what I wrote already.

Ghosty decided that he's going to take an extended (possibly permanent) break from SL. So, letting our private estate land go.

Looks like I'm now a full time Belli resident. I have several homes already on nice water parcels due to having quite a few alts (except a camper, just could not get into them no matter how hard I tried) so my intention is to use them depending on my mood. Right now, my favorite is my on-land stilt which by chance is one which has it's back stilts in the water so I have a great sea view from the back and not too shabby on each side either. I've already finished decorating and it's exactly what I wish I had in RL LOL.

I am trying to let go of one traditional but it's difficult because the 2 I have are both pretty fabulous water locations and both quite private.

One silly question to all those buying and owning TONS of furniture:

How do you store it? How do you find it?

How do you name directories und subdirectories in you inventory?

Do you take photos of every peace and stpre them on your HD?

And if so how can you find a special item to place it in the house?

My method is to attempt to categorize (I have furniture folders, broken down into creator names) or rename the file if needed. Problem is remembering to do this.

I tend to use some pieces over and over as "anchors" so I usually can find what I need or by searching "sofa" "kitchen" or whatever. But there's more times than not that I can't remember the name of something which is maddening.

I have used the word "FAVORITE' when renaming if there's enough characters left. That, has been quite useful to me

  11. Another vote for the Bandit here.

Not sure which model I have, would have to log in to find out but it only came out a few months ago if that.

I've been keeping it at my houseboat, but will rez a copy at the stilt. I find this quite easy to handle and animations are really good and you can do some customizing too. I have another larger sailboat (can't remember the name offhand, it's been a while since I've used it). It's a gem, but the Bandit just feels more "me".

I have to thank you profusely for letting this one go. Since I learned to not say "forever home", I won't promise to keep this forever. It's been one of the neighborhoods that I've wanted to live in. It's so special!

It killed me to let it go, I'm so happy someone else got it that truly appreciates the location. It's not for everyone. As you can see, I kept it for almost an entire year. A rarity for me. May you have many happy times living in this home, which felt to me like it's floating on the sea!

I'm surprised you don't see more of that, it's quite common in RL to enclose part or all of the area under the house and use it as a garage, either with solid walls or lattice.

Also used as a place to clean yourself off from the beach, a lot of people install outdoor showers there or just nearby on the side of the house
