Yay! Another update to completely ignore! Remember when content mattered and the viewer was just a tool?

OMFG! I didn't recognize my alt's display name and had sex with MYSELF!

The longer I'm on SL (3 years), the more I find its direction moving away from what I like about it. Isn't SL more than a viewer? To me, viewers are like IE vs. Firefox vs. Chrome. If I was LL, I would let the 3rd parties deal with the viewers and focus on content and performance. Remember when content mattered? When will server architecture improvements be announced? Maybe it's just me and everyone I know, but this constant viewer change nonsense with no content enhancement is wearing very thin on my tolerance.

And what exactly is a "sponsoring institution?" Please tell me that any freak can't start "Uncle Pervert's Komputer Klub," and bring a bunch of 13 year-olds on here!

What will prevent 16 year-olds from misrepresenting themselves as adults in general content sims? I am an adult and do not wish to have the ability to befriend anyone under 18. Like US state-issued driver's licenses, there needs to be a way to look at a user's profile to easily identify them as a minor. Otherwise, LL is opening themselves up for major legal (and ethical) trouble.
