  1. duplicate - http://community.secondlife.com/t5/Technical/I-CANNOT-LOG-IN-TO-SL-IT-SAYS-MY-COMPUTER-CANNOT-BE-ACCESSED/qaq-p/1025137 (unless that issue has been resolved and you are facing a new one now)

if you have sent a ticket you have done all you can do at this point. i understand the frustration, but all you can do is be patient and wait for response to your ticket.

  2. hm, i was on my laptop earlier, it has vista, and i was able to log in just fine and didn't get what the fuzz was about. now i am on my desktop, which has xp, and i cannot log in :( (same browser and settings on both machines) i tried accessing mp via my dashboard as someone tried and succeeded with, but no go for me.

    le sigh :(

  3. afaik it's not possible. anything below the water line will be tinted blue. or whatever colour the current windlight setting makes it :matte-motes-nerdy:

a possible solution could be to raise the ground level, dig a hole but not below the water line, and use prim water to simulate you going underwater.

or just derender the water when you're in your cavern. :matte-motes-nerdy:

  4. it counts as 3 prims. http://community.secondlife.com/t5/English-Knowledge-Base/Build-Tools/ta-p/700039#Section_.3.1

a note that may or may not be useful; link sets show up in inventory the same way a single prim object does, so how many prims an item has cannot be determined until it is rezzed. when i build stuff i always include the prim count in the link set's name so that when i take it back into inventory i can tell at any given time how many prims it contains, so it doesn't pose a problem when i rez it to find out wth i made :D

    have fun creating!

  5. i cannot find your name in search. could it be that your account has been suspended? read peewee's answer to someone else with the same problem here: http://community.secondlife.com/t5/Account/login-failed/qaq-p/991555

it wouldn't hurt to try what luc suggested, as i see that has been marked with the accepted solution. but my hunch is that peewee may be right. she usually is. but don't tell her i said that. :matte-motes-nerdy:

  6. are you by any chance on phoenix? and could you possibly have derendered them? if so, go to the asset blacklist and remove their listings and to have them re-rendered either tp out and back in, change group tag or set draw distance to 0 then back up again. it will take a couple of seconds and they will reappear.

if that is what happened, that is :matte-motes-nerdy:

i have been known to derender on purpose. wonderful feature :P

    It's here in 1185:

Preferences>Phoenix>Page1>Build>64m prim support (Auto set for mesh enabled regions)

oh, duh :P the build tab was the first place i looked, but i missed it cause i see now it's greyed out for me. i assume it's because i am not on a mesh enabled region...? i need to go find one \o/

    thank you! :matte-motes-smile:

  8. hi FranticIch, try the marketplace! it doesn't cost anything to set up your store there, and you only pay commission for the things that are actually sold (the amount is automatically deducted).

but you will need land for a little while to place the magic box on (thing that delivers your product, read more in the link under.) they are working on a solution that does not require a magic box (called direct delivery) and when this has gone live you don't need the magic box anymore. perhaps you have a friend with land who is willing to let you place the magic box there? (it's only one prim).

read about selling on the marketplace here: http://community.secondlife.com/t5/English-Knowledge-Base/Selling-in-the-Marketplace/ta-p/700193

    and commission here: https://marketplace.secondlife.com/listing_guidelines?lang=en-US

happy creating and good luck on selling! :matte-motes-smile: don't be discouraged if it takes a while to get sales up. it does take time.

  9. i would detach everything currently worn, one by one, until the unwanted female walk is gone. go to your "worn" tab and detach every object you see. perhaps looking at this list is all you need to find the "culprit" as it may be labeled something obvious.

eta: when you say "all animations stopped", do you mean you tried the "stop animating me" option? if so, that only works until you start walking again, if there is an object attached to you that has this walking override.

Does anyone know of anyone who dances professionally the latin dances, like the Flamenco, rumba, and other latin dances.?

hey, even i can do that; with the right dance animations :D

I tried the route of just getting the dance animations for a couple to dance it for me.  That did not acheive the vibe I wanted.

i'm not sure i understand what you are asking - animation is the only way an avatar can move.

i see you posted this question in a better suited section; could you close this thread? good luck in finding what you need. =)
