Can anyone point me to some rigged mesh sample files for maya? I'm having a hard time troubleshooting out a hideous problem with my rigged mesh skin weights. Everything looks fine in Maya and fine in the upload preview, until i turn on the preview of the skin weights. Then its collapses and gets all messed up. If I upload that file, it will look normal on the ground and messed up when worn. I'd like to rule out if its something in my files, my process or my preferences by testing someone else's rigged mesh maya file and its subsequet dae file. It doesnt have to be proprietary work, it can just be a barrel rigged around the body. I've followed sae luan's video process and using her setup files too. I've tried it so many different ways with my own files and still keep getting the same result, so now I think its time to try with someone else's files.
