This is an odd one and it has me stumped. Both myself and my partner have Phoenix 1185 but something odd is going on with hers. When she tp's to another sim/region her draw distance goes up automatically and doubles each time eg 32 to 64 then 64 to 128 to 256 then to 512 but then yesterday stopped on 800 where i thought it would have doubled to 1024 which is the maximum for the viewer. This is happening every time she tp's to another sim/region and does it on its own, she is not touching it. I cannot find anything selected or deselected in any of the drop down menus or prefs which could be causing this. Can anyone help please :)

well it seems that windows 7 is not asking me if i want to save the new password as it always does and im having to type it in manually each time. Also it now says "the inventory system is currently unavailable"

Hi, I have a problem logging in. Im on Phoenix viewer the most up to date version and each time I try I get the message in a small pop up box saying "login failed" it dosnt show anything else but this. I have checked my dashboard and my account says still active. I have changed my password but still cant log in. Im wondering if Linden have suspended my account for some reason but I cant think what for? When I try my back up av, which uses the same email address, I can log in with no problems at all. Any help much appreciated, thanks :)

Hi, I have posted a question in the creation section but I dont think I got my point across so i'll rephrase. I am attempting to create a more realistic shoreline on my island by trying to roughen up the edge of the sand where it meets the waters edge as it is too smoth. What im finding is that the Linden build tool, the bulldozer, and any other land terraforming tools i have found all seem to lower, raise, roughen, flatten etc but too much at a time-i need a finer control over the terraforming tool. So....... Can anyone please point me in the right direction to obtaining a terraforming tool to shape the sand edge on my island but with a much finer control so not too much is adjusted at the one time. It is the awful edge where the sand meets the water that i want to get rid of. There is a product on the market place that i believe lays down prims that gives you a blended look as the water meets the sand but i was wondering if there was a fine landscaping tool that would do this as the one provided by Linden dosnt cut the mustard :0

I am trying to get rid of the definite line between the sand of my island and where it meets the water, make is sort of blend in so as to get rid of the terrible visible blunt line that you see. So, I was wondering if there is a tool you can get that would maybe roughen up the shore line and give it some realism. I know you can get many tools that will roughen the terrain and smooth it but i think a finer control over the process is needed here. Thanks for any help you ca give :)

Hi, this may be a wierd one. I have just found an item in my inventory called "ruth hair fix" and is actualy writen down as ruthhairfix, all one word I found it under body parts and it is showing as worn. I cannot find it on my body at all and trying to edit it from my inventory just puts me into edit appearance. Can anyone tell me what on earth this is, I didnt buy it and i didnt get it free from anywhere, certainly didnt pick it up myself I feel I should get rid of it but the delete option is not available. Any help appreciated-thanks :)

Hi, have just registered a new account, user name is just one word which seems to be all they asked for, no surname. Then had to download V2. Thing is i find V2 awful and want to use Phoenix but cant as you need a first and last name and my new av only has one name and no last name?? I already have phoenix downloaded and use it for my primary av which guess what has a first and last name . Any help on this much appreciated :)

This sounds to me like its their payment records that are incorrect. As far as I know you cannot receive goods and/or services anywhere in sl without having to pay for them. Even if the item is free you still have to go through the process of paying for which you part with exactly zero lindens. The same applies to paying and receiving of goods on X street so I would say there is something wrong with their set up. Check your transaction history and if its there keep a copy as it will not be listed for long

Hi, I went back to Phoenix 908 as I found the two further updates a bit buggy but now I am seeing "ruthed" avatars! There may be 2 out of around 15 av's that are ruthed at any one time and sometimes these av's, maybe an hour previous, looked perfectly ok ? I have been told this is a bug with the Phoenix viewer so can anyone shed more light on this for me . Thanks :)

Hi, I have a texture that I have full perms on and I would like to modify it outside of sl . Can anyone tell me how to export the texture so I can do this? Getting it back into sl is simple via the gimp menu but i'm not sure how to get it out of sl and into Gimp. Thanks :)

Hi there im back again as i forgot this one, This is one from my lovely wife April, she has N-core shoes with the colour slider and always has problems matching the colour of the shoe/feet to the colour of her stockings. I am under the belief that every texture has a numeric value so is it possible to get this number and then simply type this in so that the shoe/foot matches the stockings? In other words the texture value of the shoe/foot is now the same as the stockings-oh and one more thing How in the hell do you post on the thread? ive had some great answers and i would like to say thanks but i cant see anywhere on this screen where i can post a reply in my own thread. I believe it comes under post a comment but i cant seem to find that option. Thanks again :)

Hi, i have an odd problem here. When i move my av in the standing position he seems to hop up and down a little and then settles down also looks like the sim floor is going up and down too. Also happens when i move him to another location and stop he hops for a while then settles This happens in any sim. I am on Phoenix viewer version 908, went back to this from 1102 as the rez time was horrific but it happens on any of the phoenix versions. Thanks :)
