thanks everyone for your responses and info . in addition : . . some movement scripts work just fine , I have a hummingbird that flies perfectly but a parrot that won't . . the headlights and sounds work on the go-kart and bikes but they won't drive around . . all other scripted items work ok . . ahaa ! . . I just discovered that physics insn't enabled .

I've just rented a Homestead sim and none of my bikes or go-karts will run on it . . also several of my animals won't wander either . I've TP'd back to my old full Estate land and they still work ok there . . . suggestions and comments please . . :-( p.s my Homestead sim is class 5

. . I have that corrupted group tag problem and haven't been able to log in for a week . . everyone left the group and I've been the only member for the last 5 days but the group is still active . . please delete my group , Gallery Paradisio thanks . . Ronda

you might want to check in the forums for any problems you could encounter in selling land to your partner or to any alt you might have . . I knew someone who tried this and their land got bought up by some real estate guy within seconds of her making it for sale .

Hi Holly The group I'm having trouble with is my own group and I'd created a new tag with little flowers in it . .but the end flower was automatically replaced with a question mark . . .so yes , if you're having the same problem as me then your group tag could be the problem and you need to contact the owner of the group and ask to have your tag changed . . . or get yourself kicked out of the group a.s.a.p . . . and request a different tag before you re join . .

. . I'm the sole owner of the group . . at my rquest all the other members have now left the group . .so now I'm just waiting for the 48 hours to be up . . . fingers crossed :-)

I've been getting this message pop up every time I've tried to login for the last 24 hours . . "unable to connect to a simulator" and it makes no difference what location I attempt to login at . . . .but i have no problem loging my alt in .

I downloaded the Beta trial version of V2 when it was first released and gave myself a display name . . am I now stuck with that display name unless I download the new V2.3 and change it ? I love my old V2 . . it works for me . . it has the Local Lights option which I really need . . . .so . . if I download V2.3 to try it out will it replace my old V2 ? . . and if so , will the old V2 still be available to download and go back to ?

. . after reading all this stuff about V2.3 . .and a bit about V2.4 . . and particularly about the lack of the Local Lights option . . I only have one thing to say . . /me gets down on knees . . . . ok don't laugh . . but I love viewer 2 . .been using it since it's beta stage . . but I'm afraid I won't be using this new Beta viewer unless I can have Nearby local lights , without having to tick Basic shaders . . .

. . . here's something I hadn't read about anywhere . . I logged in with the new Beta viewer . . and changed my Display Name . . and now my Display Name shows up in my friends Dashboards when I'm inworld and not my account name even though I'm logged in with the normal SL viewer 2
