  1. Indeed yes! Listen to the ones who pay for sims, and who build, and who manage events. The ones that blog often have too much time on their hands.
  2. I fear that despite apprehension about this feature, having had previous issues with griefers trying to pass themselves off as me, I initially supported it. I maintain support for the feature, with the well-expressed concern that anyone claiming to be anyone else is readily identifiable such that display names are transparent. I am however most disappointed that Linden Labs has released this, beta or not, such that my account has now been locked out for nearly 12 hours. Will the feature introduce such bugs for all residents? If so, it is not even ready for beta release, and far from ready for general release. Whether this feature is popular or not, there is complete truth to the well-asserted views that getting technical robustness should be the main priority for Linden Labs. Not good enough.
  3. I crashed twice on separate occasions with different accounts. Both gave the message "Cannot connect to a simulator" for an hour. After that, one restored to allow login, but my primary account is still locked out after the experience. Linden Labs does not support beta, fair enough, but not so much as even a basic check of the account was performed. I submitted a ticket but recently, waited three weeks for a basic ticket response. My primary account remains locked out, despite re-installs, cache clearing, internet/network restart, the works.
