  1. 28 is a strange number, you have got passed the old 25 limit, did you add the other 3 on that viewer or a different one?

The latest LL viewer and latest Phoenix both have 42 as the default, so if you haven`t been able to add any since changing to that viewer it sounds like a bug. If you added the extra 3 and then it won`t add more thats even weirder.

Try downloading 2.5 (if you are on 2.6) and seeing if you have the same problem.

What do you mean what do we mean?...I thought we were pretty clear hehe

    1. Click Ctrl G to open you active gesture list

    2. Click on the word "Trigger" at the top of column 1

    3. Scroll down the list of triggers (which are now in alphabetical order) until you find one that says .. /me

    4. If there is one there, click to highlight it, hit the EDIT button & in the window that opens, uncheck the box that says "Active" & click SAVE.

  3. Create a folder, name it something easy to find so you can always keep it in your inventory for future use, like Normal Me or whatever.
Put a copy of your usual basic components in there...Skin, shape, eyes, hair (including bald base), huds etc and a basic shirt and pair of pants.
Right click on the folder and select REPLACE

    or

    Reset your avvie to default
Advanced Menu >>Character>>Character Tests >> Test Male (or Female)
    or
Developers Menu (ctrl alt Q)>>Avatar>>Character Tests>>Test Male (or Female)
Depending which viewer you are on.

i can talk normally in the chat .. justwhen i try to use the /me emote thingy nothing appears..

Open your active gestures (Ctrl G) and check down the list that you know what they all are, especially if there is one is with a trigger of /me.

There are some RPGs that use gestures to trigger your chat onto a different channel.

  5. Go to the login screen and set your start location to "Smith". Then keep trying to login, ignoring the error message each time it comes up.
Your Ghost will refresh approx once every 15 mins & you need to hit that gap to get in.
Once you are in, TP to the last couple of locations that you were at before your last logout/crash & you should be able re-merge with your Ghost.

Also there is a rolling restart going on tuesday/wednesday so all sims will be restarted during that time & that should clear the ghosts.

  6. According to Phoenix support, it is a server bug not a viewer bug, which is why it makes no difference if people try changing viewers. You say that character test works 70% of the time, that is another variation of the 2 things you just tried, (replacing everything on your avatar) interesting that it is more successful using default nooby parts rather than your own usual parts. Do you recall maybe getting something new around the time that it started? Like a new skin or eyes?

The 2 most common affected parts seem to the hairbase and the shape, though I`ve seen people post that in their case it was the eyes or skin. Not really sure what to suggest other than maybe to trying "replace" using some of the avatar folders in your Library to see if any of them are more successful than your usual body parts. It is a known bug that is being worked on and is affecting lots of people, though I am sure that is of little comfort

  7. The problem is not clothing, it is a bug and it affects the basic complulsory elements of avatars...Skin, Shape, Eyes, Bald Hair base.

One or more of them go "missing" and cause all the problems you are having. The 2 suggestions I posted both involve replacing all 4 of those things in one hit along with some clothes so you don`t end up naked in public.

  8. If you have a "My Outfits" folder, right-click any of the outfits in there and select "Replace Outfit"

    or

Create a folder, name it something easy to find so you can always keep it in your inventory for future use, like Normal Me or whatever.

  9. Hi drummerchick,

You have posted on a thread that is already answered and for a different issue, so your question will not get much attention in this section.

It sounds like you have a Ghost inworld preventing you from logging in and showing you as already being online.
Go to the login screen and set your start location to "Smith". Then keep trying to login, ignoring the error message each time it comes up.
Your Ghost will refresh approx once every 15 mins & you need to hit that gap to get in.

If you need more help, it would be better to start your own thread by clicking on the "ask a question" panel & stating in the question title that you have a Ghost.

  10. Do you have any members that are premium & are not using their free 512 allowance (even for a linden home) ? If so they could deed 512 to the group and cover the difference until your co-owner gets his account back.

You can also sell off his land from the group without having to add it to your own tier. Check that only the owner role has "Pay group lianilities & receive dividends" checked or any money that goes to the group from the land sale will be divided between everyone. If only the owner role has that ability all the money will be sent to your account the day after the sale.

  11. If you can see them (even with ctrl alt T) and select them, they are not ghost prims.

If you have returned all the prims on your land and they are still there, then either they are temporary prims coming into your plot from a rezzer on another plot or they are prims on a neighbouring plot that have their centre off of your plot but have part of the prim crossing your boundary.

Switch off object entry ( that will stop them if they are temporary invaders).

Select them and find their centre if they are crossing your boundary and get their owner to remove them.

Another option for invisible prims is that they are the bounding box for a sculptie, which could be huge and should be phantom, check that you or your neighbours don`t have any sculptys around such as trees that are not set to phantom.
