Oh mine is from there too, but never saw that one. Thanks! Odd indeed they call it Sith while its from the Mass Effect game, but not complaining, it looks awesome and very Sith like :)

If you ever feel the need to use it for some kind of ME RP, the store Miranda's Butt has an OmniTool, Hacking Pad, and other ME-related things.

Where is that Kasumi Goto outfit from, pretty please? :)

    Looks awesome!

    I know, right?

It's from Xtra Ordinary (*XO*), and oddly called Sith Adept. It'll set you back L$99 (L$90 for group members), comes with the double-bladed lightsaber. On the wall to the right, as soon as you TP. :)

  3. Was a little late in finding out about Blueberry having a sale, and their anniversary. Although also just in time to do something I don't usually do--impulse buy. I think I bought half of the store. Resting after the exhausting shopping spree. Snapshot_015.jpg

Wow, I bet no one will move out now!

I'm a bit salty over the fact the orb I've used over the last year (since going premium and moving around) that cost me L$2K will either collect virtual dust, or become a virtual paperweight since I will no longer be allowed to use it. I use the Kray-5 by NeurolaB Inc--have always had the range set to 5m, 90-120 second eject from parcel (rather than TP home)--visitor tracking/email notifications. I've never had the need to use a blacklist, but it's nice to have the option. There's also a remote HUD (can control various versions of the Kray-5 across the grid, from wherever I may be). I doubt the provided orb/device will match it in both form (it looks like a computer server rack, fits with my interior) and functions.

It's the only rule I'm half against because regardless of my feelings, I do also understand the reasoning. But it's enough that I'm considering moving out.

If I could replace the scripts in the Kray-5 (since it's mod) with "Linden Approved" scripts, or be allowed to keep my orb while ensuring the settings met certain requirements, things would be different. I doubt either will be a possibility. I'll wait a bit longer for the provided orb/devices to arrive, to see what they can and can't do, before I make a final decision.

I sold a plot north east of Jeogoet back in March, was going to go with Horizons as kind of an upgrade, but decided to make that a Plan B when I heard of SSP/Bellisseria. I've also been renting in the meantime, while at the same time making a list of potential locations for my Plan B. Yours is on that shortlist.

Trying to claim one of the new homes but seems i'm only allowed to move into the old ones....or did i miss something?

All of the new homes were taken pretty quickly--within a day or less. So that's why you're not given the option.

More are on the way. Although when, is not precisely known. The best, and only thing you can really do at the moment, is to keep refreshing, as some people are abandoning the new linden homes for various reasons. If you're lucky, and quick, you'll be able to grab one.

make that two :)   mine is up for a next owner, i'm not going to live in a restricted and forced "community" with those new rules sudden popping in.

Pretty much waiting to see how things go with the provided security devices, and whether I get an answer to a question I asked in thread.

I back the new change about ban lines. But I'd like to keep using the orb I have in some capacity, if only for aesthetics--use the Kray 5 by NeurolaB--looks like a, mini server rack. It fits with the computer setup I have in my home.

Whether it means gutting my orb of scripts, and replacing them with ones used in the "approved" orb/device.

I've personally been generous with the range and timer, for awhile, where ever I've lived.

I have funds for a parcel on Horizons aside as a Plan B--in case something like this (new rules) happened.

There could be a houseboat in Wavebreak free next week.

  7. Not too keen on rule about security orbs. If only because I'm rather fond of certain features, and the look, of the one I've been using for quite some time now--especially the look. It's basically a mini server rack that looks like something out of Tron. So I have to ask;

Will the scripts from the Linden orb (that's what I'm calling it now) be copy/trans, or available as standalone at least?
If so. Would it be possible/acceptable for those of us who have the ability do so, be able/allowed to just drag and drop the Linden Orb scripts into our current orb (once emptied), and call it a day?

So I have two supplementary questions...…...where did you get that tunic?????? (God forbid I set another hare running!) hehe!

AND....is this the Star Trek sim which vanished??? I'm still in the Group and a real nerd...……….

    1. From a store called "Umbrella", and the marketplace. It'll set you back L$250. I think it's worth it, though: Sexy Star Fleet Crew Uniform - TOS and TNG - Maitreya, Slink, Belleza, Tonic
    2. Coordinates set, ready for transport: Star Trek TOS - HQ  - USS Enterprise - Planet Vulcan - Sector 1

If you're talking about the Star Trek Museum, I hadn't been there for awhile, and wanted to go there for the pic. I was disappointed to find out it had gone.

  9. In the fictional universe of Star Trek, it is established that Humans and Vulcans made First Contact on April 5th, 2063--in Bozeman, Montana, USA. I only found out about this as a kid, reading astronomy books and drawing spaceships, and accidentally coming across the film titled "Star Trek: First Contact" while trying to find something for background noise.

So today is mostly known amongst fans as "First Contact Day". Coincidentally, April 5th is also my birthday IRL. Live long and prosper.

  10. Lara was my first body when I came back to SL a couple of years ago. I moved to Freya maybe 9 months ago.

At this point, and as inconvenient as it is, I'm used to switching between both bodies, depending on what clothing, accessories and such, I want to wear.

I had to make minor tweaks to make my shape for Freya, look similar on Lara.

I also switched from Catwa Catya to Genus Classic when that head was in Beta. Although I'm a bit more stubborn on refusing to go back to Catya, despite having a similar predicament with regards to piercings and such.

Sorry for spamming the thread...just had to say to Nastasha... cool Superhero! I Love it ;).... who is this? I mean Superhero wise? Are you Nastasha Girl?

    Thank you!

It's Power Girl, and in the comics, she's Supergirl from an alternate universe. Power Girl leaves Krypton at the same time as Superman, but takes a little bit longer to reach Earth (or Earth-2)--as a result, she arrives on Earth-2 maturer, more level-headed, and more powerful than the original Supergirl--with a more aggressive fighting style.

The CW borrowed a bit of her origin story for their TV show, Supergirl. In it, she and Superman both leave Krypton at the same time, but her pod/rocket gets knocked off-course and other shenanigans happen. She arrives much later, although physically younger than Superman. She's more powerful, but also less experienced.

  12. This is my Power Girl, for the magazine.

Off the record; I didn't use a backdrop. I used the "Night" WL setting in Black Dragon Viewer, and a soft box--just tweaked the exposure in post. For anyone interested, I'm using flight poses from Poseidon--they have lots of other poses that people may find useful for this theme. For those who may want to get involved, but are unsure as to where to get a costume--mine is from "XO - Xtra Ordinary". No affiliation with either...just wanting to help.

Would a rule insisting on one, single image submission be a good idea? People should post only what they feel is their best. Otherwise, the threads could become unwieldy. Just a thought, really. :)

I'd have to agree to some kind of limit.
