Thank you Aethelwine, doing it right now.

Brilliant! Thank you Ina.

Sounds great Ina, will definitely try that one. I went out from Dutch Harbour about an hour ago and there was a whole flotilla of Star Class racing boats and some medium sized boats. I followed them and they went for miles until I got dumped off the corner of a sim. Does anyone use a good sim corner detection system?

One of my favourite spots to relax and listen to the sea.

Whoa! That is really going for it Eowyn Thank you again, it is really appreciated. I have so set the windows and doors to Copy, No Transfer and then looking at packaging it all together with the textures.

I definitely want one of those

Thank you as well Lindal, appreciate it. I am going to have another crack at it with Eowyn's advice and that should hopefully help those edges line up.
-
Thanks Eowyn, all advice gratefully received. I was using the Planar option for the texture didn't know about the "Align Planar faces" option. You do not want to know how lonh I have tried making then line up and to get the texture the same scale. Apart from the texture thing, not too bad? First time attempting this.

Oh I wish I was Ina. I am from Pimlico, London, right by the Thames. When I was a kid we used to play on the Thames and it's banks. We were young and stupid. Used to watch the tug boats and coal barges all afternoon from our balcony. Been going to Cornwall for holidays for years. We are off to Padstow this year. We live in Eindhoven and as my Dutch wife says, it is the most boring city in The Netherlands. We would move to Cornwall in a heartbeat if we had the means.

That looks very cool.

Updated it a bit and I think it is practically finished. The next part is learning how to package the add-on with textures doors and windows set to Copy but no Transfer.
-
Really appreciate that Ina

I was drooling watching that, thanks Ina Where do you get those Schokkers from?

I have seen these boats on the Veerse Meer in Zeeland and they are really nice.~ Talking about flat bottomed boats, they have one that takes you to the isle of Lundy, from Ilfracombe. I must have great sea legs as I have never suffered from sea sickness. This wasn't the same for nearly 100% of the other people on the boat. After a half hour of drinking and eating, I have never seen so many people throwing up. It was, without exaggeration, really difficult to find a spot on the boat where someone was not losing their lunch. I had to stand in front of one of those ship cowlings in the end. Also, went on one of those long motorboats to see Puffins, off the Cornish coast, after a while they had to pass the sick bucket around to everyone, except me, I just passed it on. I should have, years ago, got a maritime job.

Thanks Nika for the assurance, great alternative travel advice and the humour. Let's hope we are all wrong and it does get sorted. I am definitely going to try that route you described.

I love that you can shift your weight like that.

Out sailing in her now. I will have to do a bit of personalising.
