I see you point Shockwave sad really. All this could be a easy fix with a few things put in place first. But I dont see LL doing anything other then dumping them off inworld and saying deal with it.

I have read a few things like this also. One Mom said her son was talking to adults in teen sl that should not have been there and LL would not do anything about it. She made her son leave teen sl. If they cant watch them there what the hell makes us think they can here. Oh I know we have to Babysit them. I am sorry but I dont have time for that. I came to sl to be around adults and do adult things with out worry that the kid next door is watching.

Not sure if one day would do the trick with LL. May take more then that to make them open their eyes. But when have they ever. I had a look at the teen grids post on the and the last time I looked there was well over a 1000 post on this. So with this post and that one well over 1500 then we have all the little post that are made. Not counted yet. I have read most of them and over all that I have read only a few people are for this and out of them most are the teens. The adults that have said they dont care might not now, but time will tell if things do go wrong. I have read alot of crap about how we are running around yelling the shy is falling and maybe it is. I cant say. No one can yet. But if it does fall well it will be to late then. If you know the train is going off track you dont want until it has to do something about it. Over they past 24hr I have come to feel that most will forget about this and go on about their sl lifes then wake up one day to find the sky has fallen. Then what? what can we really do? Anyone? I for one am not sure whats the first step. writing in these post is not doing a thing. Has it ever? I cant see fighting with the teens over this very helpful cause no matter what we say they dont care. They are not the ones that will lose out like the adult in sl will. we have lifes here money in world. Not to say they not have some. But most have put years into sl to just sit back and watch it run into the ground because LL cant keep them safe. 1754 post on teen sl, and 532 here. 2286 and growing

I would like to know how many of these teens parents would let there teens in sl if they REALLY knew what sl was like. If Fox news did a story on it and the parents could see what their kids will be around would this fly with them? Do the parents of these Kids come into sl to see for them selfs what it's like. Do they Know what takes place here do the Kids REALLY understand what takes place here? Alot of sl is a adult playground why would you want you kid around it?

In some ways this would be like putting a strip club inside a kiddie park Like DL or DW and telling them now you stay on you side of the park and kids dont look. How many of you know that people lay in wait in the noobie sim waiting to grab up a pretty young thing to make into a slave. How many of you have been shopping for shoes and look over and see things that you would never see in rl. So to tell me that, oh they can see it in rl yeah I am 40yr and I have seen alot in my time and I still see new things in sl all the time that make me stop and think wow Some Things that can go on in sl you cant do in rl. Ok so we keep them away from it great now how you going to keep the ones that just walked out of that strip club looking for a good time and seeing some cute 16 yr with big chest from chatting with that young one. How many of you would be alittle up set if you found out that Playboy was going to open in kiddie land. Just asking

SL was for Adults first off. I do think what Vye was saying is that if he let the f bomb drop no biggy around adults we can deal with it. Not going to hurt us not really. But for a Teen the things thay can see and hear and TALK about can. Like I said before even if you fix it so they cant see anything adult or get to an adult sim whats going to stop some crazy from talking them in to doing something they dont need to be doing in the first place. Ok I asked would you let your teen run free? Some have said I dont have kids ok so what would you want to see you baby sister or bother running around free. Funny how in RL we would never let our kids run around freely but online we do? The things that can be done in sl may not hurt the body as in RL but they sure can the mind. and a teens or Kid cause that what they are can really be messed up. we as the adults in this would have to watch out for the heath of our Kids and letting them see and do what we as adults do is not heathy. For me SL is a place to be free. To do things you cant in rl and if you want to be PG thats your right to do and if you want to be XXX thats also your right. But we cant stop every Tom Dick and Harry from going after the kids. We are here to have fun not worry if some ones Child is on the other end doing things that can hurt them. I dont want to worry about it. I have RL to worry over and I want to worry over it here too. I understand the Kid want to see the beautiful would of sl. It's a Great place to be. But can you say that it's truly SAFE? Ge sometimes it's not safe for adults lol but we understand things Kids cant.

I dont understand the whole facebook and sl myself. For one thing most teens that do have facebook know that Mom and Dad can have a look so can friends so on. ( not saying thats always the case) But as a woman in sl I know what it's like to walk around and get hit on. but I am an adult and can deal with it but as a teen they may not. There is no one watching them in sl like on facebook. Now I know they can sneak on FB please dont get me wrong. If a teen wants to seek out an adult they can very easy on FB or anywhere for that matter. But in sl you have some that know how to lead a teen into something they might not see coming or even understand. Lets face it people Their TEENs and we all know the do dumb stuff. Just tell me this Would you let your Teen run around free in sl?

This is so crazy. Why do teens need to be on the main grid?. What good can come out of it? It worrys me all the way around. Ok so yeah you would think giving them a profile that lets us know that they are a teen would be good, BUT will that just flag them for the ones that will go out of their way to find teens. I dont want to meet someone and not know they are a teen but at the same time will knowing keep them safe. How can you keep the safe? Ok so if you fix it so they cant see anything adult stuff GREAT. BUT what about chatting come on now, we all know that SL is just a Big chat room with avatars. Whats going to prevent the pervies from talking to them. I dont want to lose SL because someone hurts some KID. Yeah I said Kid cause teens are still just kids. I would not let my kid run around sl freely. ARE YOU MAD? What all this just to make the teens happy What about the harm it can cause to them. We as adults have to look out for the young ones that dont mean you give them what the want just cause they want it. We all know that this is not safe for the minds so why do it. Has anyone asked the Adults what we want seeing we are the ones that pay and build and made sl what it is. Dont we have any say at all? Dont they care about what we think? Cant we have a VOTE in this?

As bad as I hate to say this I still hate this viewer. I dont see how anyone can can say it's user friendly. I found it to be a pain in my back side ( putting it nicely ) The cam control is way to big to keep on the screen and you cant resize it. I dont know I guess I just love my old snowglobe. It's more like the old sl viewer and thats what I like I know it and dont have to think about it. Maybe if I was new and this was what I started off with I might like it. Seems like to me not many really like this viewer at all. Sad really That we have to use 3rd party viewer to enjoy sl. I spend alot of time here it's really my second home as I am use alot of you also feel that way. LL hear the crys of your people with out us there is no sl. We put alot into this life we have made here, time and money. We just want a good viewer that works so we can build or hang out with out the worries of the viewer working right. I will keep my old snowglobe and be happy for now.
