Morgann Matova

Morgann here was originally an alt. her born on date is not my first day, or even first year in SL. I was on the grid much longer. She was made to get away from a RL relationship gone bad. The guy was stalking my original avatar in world, and me in RL. So I made Morgann to get away from it. I have a male alt that was made as a bet with a friend. He didn't think I could pass as a male. I proved him wrong, it wasn't that hard back in the day before voice. When I was building and designing clothing, jewelry & tats, I dusted him off and used him to align poses and as a male model for adverts and sizing. I have a female alt that I used to use to just wander around in world when I didn't want to handle the non stop IMs that used to be Morgann's life. Taking 2 years off, tho, has made Morgann much quieter when I do log in now.

I don't know if this will help or not, but "Some peoples' children" must be a regional thing. I knew exactly what Sephina meant. No, she wasn't calling them children. (Trying to figure out how to explain it.) Basically refering to your parents (no matter your age, you are always their child) and their lack of raising you with proper manners and social skills. (At least in MI that is what it means LOL)

Not sure whats going on, part of my reply was eaten. 3 edits later, I can't alter the post. OP, you arent alone. I enjoy hunts, dancing/contests, music, building (relearning after my time away) and shopping. Most of it I do alone, since the majority of my friends no longer log in and I was away from over 2 years myself. I just recently returned, otherwise I'd have a ton of landmarks/locations for you to check out. I am still sorting through them and discovering what still exists. Even before I left, I was considered pratically a nun since I wasn't promiscuous in SL. Have I ever done the animated deed? Yep. Interesting way to suppliment a LDR. But now, I am happily living with the man of my dreams and will always choose the real deal over the virtual. Feel free to shoot me an IM.

Davin, You aren't alone. I've been in SL since 2005, 2007 on this avatar. I recently loaded the grid up on my laptop after being out of world for over 2 years. Of course when I left, I had sold my island. I downgraded to basic (learned my lesson with canceling an account w/ the 2005 avatar). I used to DJ, create, photography, terraform/landscape, etc... I am fascinated that you have left your land the same for all these years LOL like someone else said, I would clean the slate (land) and rebuild every month or so. Now that I am back on the grid... I don't know where to start. I loved listening to music, maybe I will check out some talent. I loved to build, but things have changed since I created homes & jewelry, so I have some learning to do if I want to go that route again. Definitely have the creative itch, tho, so if you need some help with your land, look me up! Most of my friends have moved on while I was gone, so I definitely have free time in SL, when I am there.
