I think people have to be careful creating alts. I don't think it is right to use them to spy for example but if people are using them for fun I don't see the harm in that.

Are you pushing any other key besides the letter "E"? If you want to jump straight up into the air left click on your avatar let go of your mouse and hit the letter "E" on your key board.
