[Resiliency In Second Life]

   My first earnest forays into socializing within SL began around 2012, when I sought out and maintained more friendships. But it was about more than simply socializing for me. It was also very much about discoveries I made about myself, and the self exploration that followed.

   I form attachments easily, and with them, emotional connections that I've had to manage. In seeking out, or simply being open to relationships,  I suppose it could be called resilience that I can endure some of the disappointments that are inevitably a part of this process. The how of it lies in reminding myself that I put myself into these situations, whether delight, or difficulty, and by also reminding myself that new happiness so often comes after pain.

[Then and Now Challenge]

   Our avatars way back then were what we had. They were what everyone had. And they were enough. This whole SL experience has always been about far more than how we looked.

[My alt accounts are my imaginary friends/allies/acquiantances/enemies/etc.!]

   I used to use alts for stipend and tier. Now they gather dust in a dark corner. I've never had any interest in socialization involving different alts or identities.

   Another thing I like about inventory item preview images is that they survive transferring said item to another person.

I finally got LoveX in a PBR photo with me using a Reflection Probe..then I forgot you can only capture mirrors with "screen shots"! (Next time..)  LoveX was using Mobile, the hardest part was for her to "touch" the thing she needed to sit on.

The second picture is from the Mobile viewer. The biggest difference is my ears don't render and there is different lighting.

   I'm not 100% sure about this yet, but I think the PBR viewer fixes the weird things projectors did to attachments that employed textures with transparency. Is that maybe why your ears don't render?

   I think you are doing just fine. Part of taking good photos is recognizing a good lighting opportunity. Wonderful photo.

   This fascination, coupled with your love of photography leads me to the inevitable conclusion that I was meant to tell you about a sim I know. If you haven't already been, maybe take a look at Tempelhof in the Ceiram region.
