I appreciate the help! My concern is that on objects it is noticeably lower resolution compared to the local texture preview of the same exact texture.

While i was trying to upload textures into SL, I've encountered an issue where the quality of the uploaded texture appears to be lower than the original. To investigate, I tried several tests wherein I bought a few textures, transferred them to my computer, and uploaded them back to SL without any alterations. The uploaded images consistently were blurry and low resolution compared to the originals. I ultimately want to texture clothing in SL, but I am having a hard time with the resolution problem. I use Black Dragon as my primary viewer, I experimented with Firestorm in hopes of curing the problem but that did not work either. Additionally, I varied the sizes of the textures, ranging from 2048x2048 to 512x512, and even waited 24-hours for the low resolution to clear up, but that was also a failure. I have been looking through the forums for a solution for a 2 days now and really haven't seen anything. I know its probably something dumb I am doing wrong, but I am at my wits end. I am brand new to texturing and creating on SL and any help would be greatly appreciated!
