    What's wrong with not being human?

    The problem is; Many simply don't accept the fact that I choose not to be a human. It's kinda a big deal for for many, it seems. I often hear comments such as "sorry, I don't talk to birds", or "you should get a human avi", "but why are you a bird?", sometimes I will even get banned from a region because of it! Obviously I am human behind the screen, so what's the big deal? Surely in today's world we should be accepting of others and their choices, as long as they're not hurting anyone else?

    Would be good to hear from others and see their perspective

     

    i have no problem with your avatar being winged! although, i have to say, he's more like a red-eyed raven (rather than an eagle) in pics :-)

    Editor's picks in the destination guide on SL usually has some very lovely places to take pictures if you haven't checked that out. ^_^ If you're looking for anything summery, check out https://secondlife.com/destination/tulum-reserve. Perfect for some beachy pics!

    I just went to a big inworld event, and there was literally only ONE item I actually liked the look of, and that didn't come for the body I prefer to use.

    You should check out *COCO* (if you have maitreya/slink/belleza) for more classy clothing if you don't want anything overly sexy. I have a few of that creators clothes and came up with some outfits that weren't over the top sexy, as I also did not want a "Kim Kardashian" type avatar. I also like OSMIA for some jeans, and Addams for some shirts/shorts. If I think of any others, I'll add them here.

    I think some people are misinterpreting your comments as coming off a little... pretentious? As if they should alter their photographs for your viewing pleasure. I thought you were just being silly lol. I don't think you meant to come off the way others are viewing you. I hope you're having a nice day!
