  1. Hey folks. I go by many names as I am an altoholic. XD

Having said that, I am a fun loving nerd that likes to hang out in Second Life, doing building, just hanging out with friends, flying, RPing. I am also an amateur writer that might someday even graduate to author. I also enjoy cosplay in SL, though that probably ties to RP as well. I also enjoy heavy metal, jazz, classical and big band music, and sometimes can be found at those sort of clubs either solo or with friends.

  2. For sci-fi stuff, it's all about Isil.

Studio Skye is also good. That is my main go to for landscaping items, like trees, dirt roads and that sort of thing.

For clothing: By Swirly, Really Rockabilly, Set to Stun, the Secret Store, Belle Epoque, Zenith, R2. Also Addams and Blueberry

Hair: Magika, Elua, Truth, Doux, Exile

Home, decor: FIN/Relive the 50s, What Next, Dysfunctional Designs, % ( yes, it's "percent" as the symbol. )

ETA: Oh also I just want to add what I've added to my diet.. I know a lot of people like to drink coffee and tea.. I used to never put in any sweetner at all in my tea.. Then decided I'm gonna try Honey..

I've been using 100% Organic Raw & Unfiltered Honey..Which is good at helping fight viruses..It never goes bad because it lasts longer than we've ever been able to find out.. They found some in Egyptian tombs that was still good..

For someone used to putting sugar in your tea or coffee..100% Organic Raw & Unfiltered Honey may taste funny at first, but for me the next day it tasted better for me..

I never used sweeteners before, so that may have something to do with it..But it's really good once you get used to it I think..

Just thought I would add that in there.. Because sugar will work against your immune system rather than help it..

As far as diabetics and stuff. I'm not saying to use this.. Check out with your doctor if you can or not..

I don't want to send someone down the wrong road here.. hehehe

I'm all about honey in hot tea. Here's hoping that you get better soon, and no covid to contend with.

  4. Ganked from my own profile inworld:

Well, back in the early to mid 1990s, like many other mis-spent youth of that era, I was - and still am! - an enthusiast of heavy metal music. The "slammed" part is a reference to moshing/slam dancing that was popular around that time. Also around that time, I dabbled in the writing and drawing of cartoons and comics called "Slammed Sam", whose protagonist was some teenage kid that had many adventures in all manner of wacky situations! The character in question eventually became what you see right here.

Ever since then, I have tweaked and re-invented Sam to some degree. One day, I might even actually finish the novel she's supposed to be a part of.

  5. I am currently reading the "Lady Astronaut" series by Mary Robinette Kowal. They are called The Calculating Stars, The Fated Sky, and The Relentless Moon. A friend inworld recommended them to me, and I can't get enough. As the title implies, it is about a female astronaut in an alternate 1950s/60s. Jolly good read, it is!

Most people share pictures by posting a link from another site. Many here use Flickr as do I. On the Flickr page is a button that says share, click that and copy the link that pops up. Then paste that link here and your picture will show up. This allows you post pictures of any size. Adding pictures directly has a limit as to the size of the picture.

    Allrighty, I'll try that.

Shooting first in a winter wonderland!

    Yay, there it is! ^^

In the edit window when adding a post, you should see a section at the bottom for attaching a file:

If you don't see it, it might be that you have to reach some minimum post count before you can attach pictures.  If that's the case I don't think it's a very high count, so keep commenting until you see the option.

Ah thank you, I'll do that!

  9. Seeing some good names up on here. What Next is an excellent go to for home decor.

    Some of my faves:

DDD, aka Dysfunctionality. good for rustic things.

FIN ( Relive the 50s ) really good if you like retro of that period.

Second Spaces are nice. One time, they even did a bit that looks like something out of a Jetsons kitchen!

Isil, the sci fi maker, makes some nice things as well.

    Pew Pew is nice.

Trompe Loeil has some really nice things.

Floorplan also has some nice things.
