This is a trivial thing to do in every other "language" I've worked in. But I haven't been able to find how to do it in LSL. The closest I got was this page https://wiki.secondlife.com/wiki/Category:LSL_List?_gl=1*sf900c*_ga*MTg0NzM0MDQ1MC4xNjU3OTQ4ODIz*_ga_T7G7P6DCEC*MTY3MzU2MjI4NC4xNTEuMS4xNjczNTYyOTg1LjYwLjAuMA..*_fplc*MXBoWTZuZzBEMmttSFhvUlRsQnpybk5mUTFxRE9xUmxGaFdXUDJlcUJydWJZWm1POG44djc3bnVUVTgwY25xcXVITG5KS3duc041TFlLRU1UVmltMlYxSng5Y0hCWndDSlhxd0QwSUhON3FrZU9kRmFwMUIzd0VKRWJEdTdBJTNEJTNE#Strided_lists
Toward the bottom under subcategories, is an article listed as "LSL List/Read Element". But when you click on it, I get "This category currently contains no pages or media." So helpful, LL, thanks.
So I tried it the way most languages work, such as vector pos = MyList[2];
Nope, that's an error. I saw code examples for iterating through entire lists, but why waste CPU time when all I want is one element at that point in the code?
So how do you do this in LSL?
