    Cat and I discussing some Island remodelling. Since we removed Castle Deathsex we have almost no vistors. it's time to put up another Castle!!! She wanted to go a bit more mainstream for a while, but that isn't working. We removed a few things to free up some prims, but we need to find a better castle than what we had!!!

    The problem is having to click on it. Caitlin wanted me to set our first anniversary video on an autoloop, but I couldn't find a way to do that. There is no way of clicking on repeat either in youtube or google drive inside of SL Youtube video repeaters didn't work. Video directly stored inside an object loses resolution with each frame, so that would make a 1 min an 30s video so blurry, that the image wouldn't even be recognizable as video. I HAVE placed 4 prims side by side, and linked them with each frame broken up into 4 parts, but that still wouldn't work for longer vids, and there is always a seam. It would take a very long time, and a lot of prims for anything over 20 seconds.

    That makes me wonder if there is a script that would autoplay images, or an online media file. when someone comes near an object.

    How to move camera the best way

    I just bought an Elgato Streamdeck with 15 Buttons, and programmed the hotkeys to control the camera. They accept multiple keystrokes on each button. Works just great. Now to make sure I position them intuitively. It's easy to move the buttons around. No rerecording keystrokes, just moving them around into the slot I want with the streamdeck program.

    Working on Security at The National Blab Offices in my Swallow alt. They aren't customized yet though. This is one difficult system to setup!!! It doesn't affect anything outside of a predefined area though, so anyone flying over is safe. image.thumb.png.c5e6e7fee1bc9d759db19b2ecdfd200d.png

A lot of creators have the gears be way too high set and the steering be very responsive (usually they're made for track-racing rather than street cruising, most tracks have quite a few sharp 180 turns so the bikes need to turn sharp). First gear should just be a gentle roll so that I can align the bike when taking off, second gear should be pretty slow still in case I'm just doing a short-cut or connection to a main road, third gear I want some speed - but still slow enough that things rez and I can sight-see along the way, 4th gear should be pretty zippy, 5th gear is for when there's 2-3 regions of straight road to burn across - after that having more gears feel superfluous. 

    Thanks!!! I honestly know nothing about bikes, RL or SL. I can't remember why I even got this one. You make me want to try it again though. I didn't have much chance yesterday. 

     But really, it was about Cinny and I having some silly fun together. Not about serious driving.

    I literally spent my entire day yesterday with @Cinnamon Mistwood. First helping her with her laptop issues, and then inworld celebrating her Rez Day.  LOL, we got dressed up to go dancing, but she decided on some other stuff.
