I'm deeply sorry to hear of Script's passing, Vryl. I wish you all the best and lots of strength for the coming time of grief. It's strange, I don't go to Secondlife much anymore, but when I was online today I visited Rez Point, which I haven't been to for many, many years. Just like that, for no particular reason, just because I liked this place and had fond memories of it. I read your message almost by chance in the general description of the About Land dialog box. Of course that made me sad and I stayed at Rez Point for a long time and thought about old times and Paul, whom I only knew briefly. I'm feeling with you. Pius

Thank you, Oz! You jumped in at a time, that was not the easiest I guess, a time I've been skeptical over Second Life's future, a time the hype already has been over, a time Second Life Enterprise got dropped, a time with actual and foreseeable changes in the top management... for me, a time I stopped any SL related activities within my real life business. But, it was also the time the Second Life 2.0 viewer got launched. Now a new leader? Someone who has no clue about what's going on, someone who doesn't understand Second Life? I didn't expect you to stay for longer than a year... (well, two or three maybe). But I was wrong! Totally wrong!!! You did a great job and soon it was clear to me, Linden Lab has elected the right guy for this job. And looking back, he's got the perfect nickname, too. However, I never thought you will stay for 11 years, keep on a clear course and focus on a vision, that keeps the users happy. Congrats and a big thank you!
