"Another week, another orange. Well, fewer than in the original list since I am pulling out hair follicles with how close some of these colors are. But I like the idea of apricot as a color name and I have some super cute jeans to share with you." Read more on the blog.

"Every year like clock work the day of ones birth comes around. In Second Life it is known as ones Rez Day. In real life it is ones birthday. Birthdays are about celebrating life. It is to celebrate the person being part of this universe and how their life might have touched others. To celebrate with them while they are alive. Some people like to throw celebrations and birthday parties. After all, everyone loves a birthday party, right?" Read more on the blog.

"While I’d rather not meet a nearly 40 foot long snake in real life, it’s a treat to interact with one in Second Life. The Science Circle has set aside an area that has been built to resemble a hot, swampy environment in what is now Colombia, South America. This environment was built by Dr. Linda Kelly (Delia Lake in SL). Living in this environment is a 3D animation of a Titanoboa. This marvelous animated object was created by Dr. Gregory Bollella (GmanB in SL). You can visit this environment and observe the snake capturing a huge crocodile and just generally scooting about in the swamp." Read more on the blog.

"Hello, my friends! Hope you had a wonderful weekend. Mine was quiet but pleasant. Today, as I looked outside, I noticed the leaves on the big oak tree in front of my window have started to change colors. I can already tell how gorgeous it will look once completely turned! I love fall…the reds, gold, browns, and yellow colors, all wonderful warm tones that automatically make me feel comfortable, at home. I guess Mother Nature is about to start a new masterpiece!" "I was ending a beginning, a pain no one hears,
Efforts are fading, tools breaking, a machine rusting its gears,
A tape bandaging, a heart’s breaking, ten billion pieces I fear,
A sorrow dancing, a joy curtaining, my demon reappears,
A continued suffering, a lesson keeps learning, nobody’s here,
A bright lip radiating, a sorrow concealing, a droplet was crystal clear,
I was faking while revealing, a smile amidst the tears."
