    Totally true about chatting in local chat sometimes feeling uncomfortable.  Many times in SL crowds you see a lot of chat going on in local, and it is hard to step in and join the string of chat.  On the other hand, however, if you are a male and send an IM to a female, this sometimes is misconstrued as hitting on them.  As a male in SL it is very rare indeed to be IM'd by a female   So just like in junior high school as a guy, you choose carefully who to send a random IM in a public place.  Some of the responses are scary!

    Swapping 1024 sqm mainland lot?

    I have a nice river setting (access to the Blake Sea) 1024 sqm lot in Daikoku.  Love it there but am looking for a new 1024 sqm mainland lot to do some new landscaping and just for a change.  If someone has a 1024 sqm lot on mainland and would be interested in swapping that would be great.  Or, would i look for an abandoned 1024 sqm mainland lot and bid on that land and then abandon my land when I find something new that i like?  Any help would be appreciated:|

    Thank you so much for that comparison to Grand Canyon, Lake Tahoe, Crater Lake.   I have been there many times in SLand marveled at the close detail to the real thing.  Sounds like I need to scale back my idea and create something a bit more manageable like Burney Falls in Shasta California😁

    Niagra Falls Sim Idea

    So in my travels in SL I have fallen in love with waterfall sims.  I noticed, however, that there is no SL version of Niagra Falls

    How would i go about finding out how large of a region would be needed to create such a sim?  Where can I find information about waterfall builders to see if reproducing Niagra Falls waterfalls can be done?  Is this just a pipe dream, or a wonderful place for people to visit and enjoy in SL
