Now, what is keeping you from finding something to do or going elsewhere when you can't be bothered?

What's wrong with them giving me something extra to do? Something that you wouldn't need to participate in if you don't feel the need to.

There is no point - whatsoever - to your proposal. Nothing added. Nothing that is of benefit to anyone outside of the Achievement Chasers in the Gaemerz crowds.

I am not an achievement chaser or in the 'gaemerz crowds' but it would give me something to do on days I don't feel like doing anything else. What do you mean nothing added? Literally an entire system added.

  3. It's not like an account age verification thing. They could ban people without a certain amount of badges but that would be a waste of time and man power.

Why can't y'all just let others have fun the way they want to? Some people like collecting. It gives a feeling of accomplishment. Don't like it, then don't participate. 🤷‍♂️

  4. I can see both sides of the argument tbh.

Some people need something to work towards when they're online, and something like achievements could help towards that. A passive accumulation for most people won't change anything. But for the people who log on and are bored but still want something to do, it could help with that.

I can also see that some people might just try to do things for achievements instead of for the experience, or it might attract more gamers. But having more people inworld who are active can't really hurt.

Fine. Have it your way. Those of us who survive can come back afterwords and calculate how many lives this cost the world, and then we may pin it directly on you.

Yes. Because we didn't discuss it on the General Discussion forums for Second Life, it's definitely Coffee's fault. 🙃

Oh sweetie I have been away from SL for so long I have no clue what you are talking about, and now I have a house to decorate so I'm really buried in it all now.

Depending on what browser you're using, you can make it so that when you click those "visit this location" buttons it will automatically open in the Second Life viewer of your choice :)

  7. Right click "Visit this location" and then paste that into the address bar at the top of your inworld viewer in the address bar. Thats how those work if your browser doesn't auto prompt to open your Second Life viewer automatically.

  8. I truly have no idea what's causing that, and I have never had that issue. Try opening a ticket I guess.

Or in world, you can go into your options and find your owned land. It will have your linden home as one of the locations. And give you the option to teleport there.

Tried that and it just gets me a black window with a couple yellow stripes in it. Nothing else.

I'm not sure how that could be happening. If it's an incorrect link it will generally just tell you that you cannot teleport to that location.

can also right click the link I've surrounded in black and try the same thing.

  10. You can find out when Bellisseria homes become available by checking the claim your Linden Home page. That's the only place you'll see them available. If there isn't a theme that you like available in the list, wait for a while and try again.

If you search Bellisseria on the map nothing will show up. The continent is called Bellisseria but the regions within all have their own names.

Multiple people have put SLurls to locations in Bellisseria. That's how you can find it.

I agree, it's not fraud by the legal definition -- but I don't believe he's meaning to define the term in a legal sense. It's this 2nd definition that causes me to believe his accusation has merit:

"a person or thing intended to deceive others, typically by unjustifiably claiming or being credited with accomplishments or qualities"

His original argument though was people who are DJing having an alt come in as host and ask for tips. And land owners asking for tips. Which isn't against the TOS and I suppose it would only be fraud if they were to say "Hey, no, I'm not also the DJ."

Apparently you don't realize that 'friends only' thing only applies to the web profile, whereas the old legacy profiles are visible by everyone.  Anyone using Firestorm, and possibly other third party viewers, can easily see the legacy profiles.
