Not in SL. In some games I have no choice though. Which doesn't make me happy as I prefer the arrow keys. And yes I know I can configure to my liking. Not going to happen. I learn to play games using the defaults and only tweak when needed to improve performance, never to try to give myself advantages over other players.
When playing games, I've always configured them in order to use the arrow keys for moving.

I can't even imagine using the arrow keys, just the position of my hand is uncomfortable if I rest my (left) hand there.
(You guys use the mouse to turn the camera at least, right...?)Why would you even want to use your left hand to use the arrows and page up / down keys? 🤨

I use the arrows. It's way more intuitive than WASD (I always say "Letters are for writing, arrows for moving" 😎 )

She tried to reinstall, and it simply wouldn't let her.
Maybe Windows corrupted it itself, because of a "False Positive" in the antivirus program. Your friend should whitelist the folder where the viewer is located (IIRC, it's under \C:\Programs on Windows), and try reinstalling it again

@cafekan: It's entirely possible that you won't have this facebook account very long. They regularly purge accounts that are not what they consider to be "real names".

What is it with you Germans? When I was young, a local hardware store was owned by a German family. Over the service desk at the rear of the store was a sign that read "If we don't have it, you don't need it."
That's German humor

"OMG they have my IP address, can they hack me???" or "NEVER GIVE YOUR IP ADDRESS TO ANYONE!!!"
Back then about15y ago, one guy on a discussion board I was active on claimed he could hack every computer, no matter the OS. I gave him "my IP": 127.0.0.1 - and a few hours later, he logged back in and claimed that I had counter-attacked him by erasing his \C: partition

Lots of calories, but tasty

Maybe your antivirus stops the process because of a "false positive"?
On my Win10 machine, I whitelisted all viewer folders after the recent updates, since then everything has been working correctly.

SL Doms who don't read profiles, and asking me something that could have been answered if they read it
Quite some of these "Dom(me)s" seem to not even have the ability to read profiles. 😈

Firestorm and I believe i mentioned SL in my post. and as far as a tinker toy I am talking about a pretty high end desktop, not a 5 year old potato. Its pretty well documented this " game " is not optimized at all and it will drag a high end PC down So I will have to assume whatever you are running it on was crafted at Hogwarts.
Actually, I do have what you call a "5 year old potato":
QuoteCPU: AMD FX(tm)-6100 Six-Core Processor (1761.42 MHz)
Memory: 15927 MB
OS Version: Linux 5.2.11-1-default #1 SMP Thu Aug 29 06:41:19 UTC 2019 (6385110) x86_64
Graphics Card Vendor: NVIDIA Corporation
Graphics Card: GeForce GTX 950/PCIe/SSE2And I can run *any* viewer (Windows-only viewers via PlayOnLinux) just fine, thank you very much! 😈

Do you use WASD controls?

Back then a few years ago (on my former account), when my right hand was incapacitated due to RSI, I switched my mouse to left hand, and still used the arrows to move around.
