    The arrogant, ignorant people who are so in love with the tedious, mind numbing suburban hell that is Belli, that they insist on trying to convert Mainland into a loss making 5th rate clone of said hell.

    Ouch.

    Shoreline definitely, hills I agree to an extent.  There are some bits of land that you'd have to be really creative - or just build a platform to build on - and of course the 'rocky' ground texture isn't necessarily that aesthetically pleasing for many build scenarios...

    • Kid Avatar's need their own separate platform - Safer and cheaper to avoid underages entirely
    • SL Content creation should have stayed a hobby or at most, a second income. - True
    • You're just asking for a lawsuit if you're putting RL brand logos on your virtual products. - True, but not the labs fault.
    • SL was better back before everything became money and popularity-based. - That was 20 years ago now
    • The Community side of SL died years ago. - I disagree.

    Here's the script that the newbie Signal Linden put out a few months ago that detects bots -- at least of the registered kind whose owners have indicated they are scripted agents on their account page. It's annoying because if you put copy this into a blank script in inventory, then put it into a prim, then rez it out where you have bot infestations, it immediately starts spitting out lists of names of bots (if there are avatars) -- and you can't stop it because it isn't on/off (someone needs to make the script do that). It also doesn't catch unregistered bots. But it's a start I guess.

    Since that OTHER script that does catch them all supposedly is being held close.

    default {
        state_entry() {
            // Detect agents within a 96m radius
            llSensorRepeat("", NULL_KEY, AGENT, 96.0, TWO_PI, 5.0);
        }

        sensor(integer count) {
            // Check if detected agent(s) are bots
            integer i;
            for (; i < count; i++) {
                key id = llDetectedKey(i);
                integer info = llGetAgentInfo(id);
                if (info & AGENT_AUTOMATED) {
                    llOwnerSay(llDetectedName(i) + " is a bot.");
                }
            }
        }
    }

    llSensorRepeat("", NULL_KEY, AGENT, 96.0, TWO_PI, 5.0);

    That 5.0 at the end is the repeat rate in seconds. 300 would scan once every 5 mins

    ...  found it hard to get clothes to fit properly although if I had persisted, I may have got that to work.

    Quite frankly, I think that the old system avatars look better, despite their limitations and, if I was trying to do SL for free, I would use one of them instead.

    An old system head on a senra body might work, not sure not tried. Senra has curves, old system has triangles, no escaping that. Senra comes with a generous starter wardrobe but I don't think any other clothes will fit. We shall see.

    Was experimenting with the new SL Starter Avatar SENRA JAMIE. Added another Skin, shape, Hair, green Eyes and Makeup … quite happy with the result 🙂

    The bodies are great, the feet and hands are a bit clumsy but fine for a new starter, the heads are hard work but useable as your picture indicates. Good job !
