That would mean someone willingly spent money to grief another person, why?

Who knows. It's a hobby to some. When I first used the MP as a seller I was asking like 9 lindens for stuff, a bargain. But cheap as chips prices just made one starring a bargain bit of fun for those types. Upping the prices put a stop to it but the damage was already done and exists to this very day. (From 2017)

I'm set to receiving IMs in my mailbox when offline. This morning I got a suspicious email from 'Cash Cove Treasure Chest' with the title 'Message from Second Life'. The text was this:

The object 'Cash Cove Treasure Chest' has sent you a message from Second Life:
Attention Isskald, we would like to remind you your replay credits of L$200 (and cash out of L$0) is still available @ http://maps.secondlife.com/secondlife/CashCove/245/134/25 and the current session will expire Never.

= Cash Cove Treasure Chest is owned by CashCove SLSGO
     = http://slurl.com/secondlife/CashCove/243/128/25

It looks legit, but when I logged in, there was no message at all, and I've never been to this place, and never heard of these people.

I'm convinced it's a spam, just trying to determine how sinister it is. Did it even come from inside SL?

Has anyone seen anything like this before? Any info would help.

Yes I been getting them too. Just ignored it so far but its getting irritating

  3. How ypu progressing, steve ? What you using for an avvie ? You'll rememberer the marketplace ? Get a modern mesh 'roth' for a buck and sweets male skins for a buck and your home n dry :D

  4. My concern is yes, there's an SLRR near the welcome hub. Yes, there's demo homes near the welcome hub. But not near enough. I'm years old and have visited the hub many times and I wouldn't know where to find 'em. Gotta make them easier to get to, for a brand new resident. Is all I'm saying.

I've figgered it out in a blinding flash. The new resident steps off the landing zone and all that's there is a subway station with three platforms. And auto shuttles going to 'demo homes' 'SLRR rail depot, casino, passport office and so on. (Yes the passports are weirdly popular even i like collecting the stamps and I'm not the stamp collecting type.)

  5. The popularity of Belliseria suggest the lab should plonk a single street out of the Vics and into a walkthrough straight out of the landing zone. Fully furnished houses that no one lives in but the new resident can wander about inside trying stuff out. That's the way forward imho. There could be a second exit to a row of houseboats. Stuff like that.

Plus a third exit right that goes straight to a SLRR station. With an automated tram trundling through the ever expanding zones of Belli in a perma loop.
