The new decrease in full sim land price announced yesterday ... is another pathetic example of giving with one hand while taking with the other. Go buy enough lindens to pay the tier on a full sim then add the new 14.99 transaction fee cap to it... that puts the cost of the land right back UP there near where it was before. Either way the tiny decrease in "full sim cost" won't benefit me anyway. I rent my whole private island sim from a land baron an they don't usually give rent reductions. Slightly lower land price just means more profit for them. THE NEW TRANSACTION FEE INCREASE HOWEVER... DOES AFFECT .... me and others here who buy large sums of Lindens each month! The new transaction fee cap of 14.99 is as ridiculously high as the 9.99 cap that came before it in 2021! Not only that but where does it end? Whats next? A 19.99 transaction fee cap in September? No I am not a premium member NOR a creator selling stuff in SL an paying tier from profit. But I do rent a full sim to house a city I built as a "Virtual Office / Virtual Broadcasting Studio" for our mostly non commercial ... RL licensed radio station staff to meet in. Each month I buy $250-$300 or more US dollars worth of lindens to pay for all that.. plus I spend a lot of lindens buying off the MP and inworld stores to support the creators in SL. as well as giving a small inworld salary to my small radio staff so they too can buy stuff an support the Second Life Economy. That easily adds up to about $4,500 US dollars a year... which is a lot... considering I'm not a premium member with benefits. But myself and others in Second Life should not be taxed or penalized for buying large sums of lindens! SL is becoming as expensive as RL in many cases.. and I see a huge cutback in my Second Life budget coming thanks to these ridiculous high transaction fees and land prices.

TO Reed and Linden Lab, Why is LL wanting to penalize residents like me who spend a lot in SL? Sure I am a BASIC MEMBER, and maybe you or others in SL do not see me as a contributor to the SL economy cause of that... But I spend $300-400 dollars a month on lindens...every month for years... and Im aware there are others who spend what I do and a lot more... especially land barons... but Im not a land baron. I lease a full region at about 250 dollars in lindens a month, its home to a unique build I created without profit in mind... its there for all to enjoy and I pay all the expenses of it myself. Plus another 100 dollars worth of lindens a month to buy non tier items. I dont ask for donations expecting others to pay for my sl. Altogether the amount I pay into LL is 5000 plus yearly. My point is LL already makes a ton of cash from my existence and buying in SL.... but your going to penalize me and others now 7.5% for the privledge of buying from you?? Seriously Its an insulting slap in the face and it pisses me off. Dont be suprised when this penalty for buying large amounts of lindens ... pisses other people off too and drives some full region owners like me to dump those regions. Instead of buying hundreds of dollars in lindens every month for tier many will get frustrated and reduce linden purchases to less than 20 dollars a month. SL is my creative outlet, its not a money maker business for me and Im not a land baron as I said before... but as much as I love creating in SL... Im not going to keep tolerating price increases when I already pay hundreds each month to LL.

My military status as a VET, and prior law enforcement experience actually can make my opinion more informed than yours especially on subjects that pertain to my knowledge, expertise and experience in specific subjects. Good thing for you I base my statements on facts not on my opinion.

ALL LIVES MATTER is a non racist statement to those of us who use it and it simply means no lives of one race are more important than the lives of another race. It means All of our lives matter. They do... don't they?

As for my comment about race coddling, I stated that this should not be turned into a race coddling black lives matter thing... all lives matter... black people are not the only race killed by law enforcement. The focus should be kept on the facts - namely should this tactic continue to be used by law enforcement on ANYONE ever ? My opinion as former law enforcement and military enforcement is the tactic is not safe and should not ever have been approved for use.

I agree with you about the officer using the tactic should be held accountable. My point was... that if the officer is to be held accountable for a tactic he was trained to use... the tactic itself was approved by federal, state, and municipal governments so all individuals involved in approving this tactic safe for use by law enforcement, should be held accountable along with the officer... and the tactic should be removed from use and banned.

A very touchy subject to address but I have an "ALL LIVES MATTER" shirt... in RL.... and a custom made " I love Black people" shirt to wear in SL. I think those two shirts both the RL one and SL one say volumes about "where I am" on those "value of life" topics. But lets put some facts on the table. The police officer tactic of subduing the suspect George Floyd by placing a knee on this suspects neck IS NOT and WAS NOT behavior that only HE the officer should be held accountable for. I dont know about what is used in other countries, but in the United States of America... the "knee on the neck" tactic is part of the approved modern police officer training in almost every part of the USA. Ive never believed it was a safe or good tactic to use as it is dangerous an as we all have witnessed... can kill a suspect accidentally or otherwise. "Knee on the neck" is an Israeli tactic used by bigoted IDF soldiers on all unarmed Palestineans and condoned by American government every time they pay our tax dollars to hire Israel to teach their methods to our countries law enforcement departments. The "knee on the neck" tactic was approved as safe long ago by our federal government, state governments, and municipal to be used by police officers in performing their duties. But it isn't safe. All of these people in governments know the danger of "knee on the neck" yet they approved it anyway and millions of police officers have been trained in using it as a legitimate use of force. So should this cop that caused the death of George Floyd be held personally accountable? NO... not unless we hold every government employee who approved this tactic accountable as well. The bottom line of this is the "knee on the neck" tactic should be removed from law enforcement training permanently and immediately. As for the subject of PROTEST... I am prior military... 2 tours... and I served to defend our freedom, liberty, and natural rights embedded in the Constitution of United States of America. So I say what I want and how I feel based on facts but also based on THE FACT I have that right and I earned it. When it comes to the subject of PROTEST, it is a fact in our nation.... people have the right to protest, air grievances to their government and we have the right and personal duty to engage in armed insurrection when our government oversteps itself or violates our Constitution or steps on freedom, liberty or the rights of the people. There is no such thing as UNLAWFUL PROTEST even though the government and the COPS seem to be using that term a lot lately. LOOTING however...IS NOT a form of legitimate protest. Additionally its very obvious when watching news footage or going "down to the front" in person... "WHO" is doing the majority of the looting and using George Floyd's death as an excuse to steal.... commit violence... and destroy property. I do not support this at all. I also dont support specifically any race that engages in any of these either! When ethnic people or "white people" or *****ing martians or ANYONE engages in looting, you are violating the rights of others. That is unconstitutional... and morally wrong no matter what excuse or how anyone presents the debate of it. The Constitution is the highest law of this land... ( USA ) it is a decreed guarantee specifically that all of our rights and freedoms will be protected. The right to protest comes with this, however it must be proper legitimate protest.... sans the looting. For the safety of ALL American people, not just blacks... we must all take a stand together against looting and destruction. Otherwise that same government of ours that approves "knee on the neck" will also approve cops and the national guard shooting protesters and looters both with lead bullets eventually. They've done it before. It's just a matter of time before we see this happen again. I do not have enough intel on the George Floyd death to scrutinize it.... so maybe this poor man was innocent... but many of the black or ethnic people who have been killed by law enforcement in the past such as at Ferguson... were not innocent... they had committed crimes or were resisting arrest violently or tried to kill police officers etc etc So instead of turning this into another race coddling "BLACK LIVES MATTER" issue again... maybe it would be better to KEEP THE FOCUS of the protest on banning the "knee on the neck" police tactic so that nobody else has to die from this again accidentally or otherwise?

I have had the same homestead region over one year that I leased from one of the long time 3rd party Land Barons this time last year. I pay a bit over 6k per week for it... but what bothers me is after this announcement from LL... is that all 3rd party land barons have now suddenly RAISED their tier prices dramatically and are now price gouging. My landlord company went up over 1000 a week in less than 4 weeks for homesteads....and the chungs... they have raised their homestead tiers since this announcement from 7599 week to 8999 a week... same land, same amount of prims. The significant sudden drop in the value of Linden money recently from around 270per dollar to 258 per dollar...and falling... makes me highly suspicious and curious about the orchestration and the timing on all of this. In business as many know there are three ways to create profit... sell more... make cuts someplace or create artificial shortage of something... anything.... which then adds value to what " IS STILL " available... and then prices get raised. Supply and demand. Nothing new, the knowledge is thousand years old at least.

Bought the Legacy body in early November. Very dissapointed. I was bored with the almost perfection of the Signature Gianni mesh body. Wanted to try shaping and modding something else. I noticed that Legacy body actually got the arms right on their male mesh body so I was impressed by that. Even Signature whose Gianni mesh body is nothing short of amazing has the one draw back of unrealistic looking arms. Men's mesh arms have never really looked natural in sl on any mesh with exception of aesthetic if your into the gorilla sized body builder look. Legacy is the first to get the male arms really looking good and natural without a steroided bloated look. So yea I pissed away 5 grand on the Legacy body... and since I know it is not easy for many people in sl to just piss away 5 grand on a mesh body, thats why Im writing this here. Steer clear. As I said the arms look great but this legacy body has many drawbacks of which I will mention a few. Number 1... NO SUPPORT !! If you do decide to buy this body male or female, just know support is non existant. They have a support group that will attack you for asking a question and maybe one of your attackers will tell you to contact the CSR named LiveHelp. If you contact the CSR by that name, you will never hear from them ever. You spend 5 grand on a mesh body girl or guy, there should be proper support available always like with Signature, Maitreya and Catwa groups. NUMBER 2.... NECKLINES !!! I have tried a few different catwa head skins an body appliers from 3 different skin creators and removing that horrendous and extremely obvious neck line is impossible. I even got some advice off couple of youtube videos for this since Legacy support doesnt exist but still could not solve the neckline issue. Apparently many people have this issue with the Legacy body. Maybe if the Legacy people would have spent less effort on their so called shopping experience bull***** and had put a lot more of their development effort into the HUD for the body....( including a neck fix like Singature and Maitreya) it would have been better. My post is getting long so I will conclude here, Signature recently offered me another free update to ver 4.9 so I have gone back to Signature Gianni again and life is good! If your considering buying Legacy, you can get a Maitreya, Signature or many other very good mesh bodies for half the cost of a Legacy. Trust me... its not worth paying 5000 lindens for. Highly recommend steering clear and buying something else. Cheers
