Jeeze, doesn't this discriminate against Tinies?

Those are not my keywords... Those are the OPs keywords.
Sorry, I should have directed my comment/response to them.

Find the house in your inventory and look to see whether it says (no modify) after the name.
I thought sometimes an object says (no modify) because at least 1 prim or inventory contents are "no mod", does that necessarily mean the entire structure is "no mod"?

What if someone else thinks your "cute" is their "ugly"? Subjective descriptor words like that are not appropriate keywords.
When I see your keyword Spam, this is what I think about:
Wife (shrieks): I don't like spam!
Vikings (singing): Spam spam spam spam. Lovely spam! Wonderful spam!

So yes, I suppose you are right, LL is short-sighted, at least when ti comes to this particular issue.

I say this as while staring at a work project scope to finally rewrite a very old and very heavily used application that is currently written in COBOL - and yet it looks like management will delay it again because of cost and time. Does anyone really think that it will magically take less time or money somewhere down the road? At some point it will just flat break and then we will all be royally screwed.
COBOL will never die!

"At this point, there is only so much updating that can be done to the existing Second Life Marketplace because of the integration of the old XstreetSL system. The only way to address some of the issues would be with an entire rewrite of the code. This would mean 3+ years of new development, along with a loss of ALL of the current listings, sales history, ratings, etc"
Short-sighted LL is short-sighted.

"Code base" explanations sound quite silly. If you own the code, you can change it. Unless you don't want to, or it is "too expensive" to do so.

I remember the good old days, when we could summon a real Linden in-world and get them to ban a griefer on the spot!
Those were good times!

Yes. Listen() event responds to local chat. Objects can "chat" to each other. Others will advise you to pick a random channel. Of course, you can test and debug on channel 0 (public) but it will annoy anyone in your area so do it in a region where you are alone. Or, just add "llOwnerSay()" messages echoing the messages sent and received so nobody else sees them.
Link_Message() event responds to linked messages.

Have you considered asking the person whose store it was?
If this is "public land" the store could have been a Linden "rental by lottery" and the time period was finally up - time to have another lottery and rent to another person. (I only suggest this because it is how the scheme worked for store rentals at Luna Oaks Galleria.)

I think it's interesting to see a complaint about SL physics without a single specific example of what exactly you would like to see improved. Low-information post *vote-down*

Oops, I commented but was incorrect regarding downvotes as they were not by the Original Poster. If you're getting downvoted, you may be "wrong".

most likely it's progeny, thats not asking for permission, and has no animation, and is also not visitble for non players
you don't know you'r bitten, unless you'r a player yourself, of a player tells you.
So with all the SL "in-game" indicators gone..it is essentially Role Play. Translation: Someone "told" you that you were "bitten".
I do believe, that if there is a Role Play going on and you don't "consent" to the Role Play, then you can ignore it. Just my opinion.

There is no such thing, as far as I am aware, as a "credit debit card".
Some people describe their "debit" card as such because they can also use it as "credit" card - in which case they do not enter a PIN but provide a signature. My thought is that the OP may not understand that this type of card is not allowed. Only "pure" credit cards are allowed. Right?

Ok..so on the topic of "consent".
1) How can a vampire "bite" you without asking permission to animate your avatar? Did I miss something?
2) Or does the "bitten" just get a message that they have been "bitten" with no "consent" or biting animation?
If it is #2, then I think the parameters of the "bite" are far enough outside the SL "game" (no animation, no permissions asked) that it can be ignored by anyone who is "bitten". *Edited* Or block the "biter" as an irritant.
*Edited* If it is #1 - the user is asked permission to animate their avatar - and the "bite" only occurs if they give permission - then they are given "uninformed consent" if they are not told that they are about to be bitten.

Does anyone know where I can find this hair?

The one the model is wearing with her unique, custom and perfectly proportioned face for Catwa's Chloe Bento mesh head?
Not sure if this helps you find the hair, but: "Jo is 5'7" (170cm) tall when bare foot with a buxom D cup shape."
