I tried to sell some of my Linden $$ back to my account but unknown to me it apparently only will get credited to a paypal account which i don't have. so i figured I'd just buy back the Lindens I sold but I'm not sure how to do it.... does anyone know how i can do this... at the moment i have a credit in my account and i'm pretty sure i can use that credit to buy lindens with. Any suggestions or help would be great. Thanks in advance. -Arden

Tari you are correct. After fiddling around with one of the many AO I have, I found it it's a simple menu gave me the option of turning it off. I've only recently got back on SL and I'm trying to catch up with all the changes. I hesitate to push buttons or click something because I'm not technically savvy to fix it if it goes south. Thank you all for your help.

I figured out how to get to debug setting and the playtypeanimation is already set to false. is there anything else needed to be done?

Yes I found Corvus on the MP and went to the store! Their stuff was perfect for what I was looking for however I found their stuff to be for classic avi's. So I was a bit disappointed. I'll keep looking. But thank you for your reply.

Hi I was wondering if anyone could give me some suggestions for goth clothes and pale, white, lilac or similar skins....with smudged eye makeup like skins or separate smudge makeup would work to. Thanks in advance :)

Problem solved.

I seemed to have removed my chat windows and all the notificatons and I don't know how to get it back. Does anyone know what I need to do to get it back?

I too have been away for some time and lost all the friends I did have. I came back to all this mesh bodies and heads. So I spend my days working out my new stuff and shopping of course. I also like taking pictures even though it's amateur photographey I just do it for fun. But those are my days. I'd like to have people to chat with and do things with. I can come off a bit shy at first but I always come around. If anyone would like to chat or become friends I'd like that. We can meet up for coffee or dancing or shopping. Send me an IM.

Ahhh. Perhaps that's where I'm getting confused. I think I'm trying to use just the one applier as a universal applier for all skins.

As far as i know, I have the Maitreya applier...which was suggested by a member in the omega group. And I have the Catwa head applier. As of right now, I have the Lara Maitreya body and a classic avi head. So far i'm interested in the Catwa Alice head and have been playing around with the demo which i found out how to adjust the eyes. that was easy. I then wear both appliers and try to apply the demo skins which doesn't seem to have any appliers. In the boxes I only see skins. When i try to apply them mothing happens. Am I suppose to have an applier for the skins as well? could this be what my problem is. Like I said I'm only using all demos at the moment until I can figure this out before I go and spend all this money on this mesh heads and I cant use them because i can't figure it out. Do the skin demos have all the necessary appliers in them or do i have to purchase a whole skin to find out?

Maybe I need to use a skin applicator. Perhaps that's the issue. I've only been using demos because i'd like to make sure I know what I'm doing before spending the Lindens to buy all the stuff needed. As of right now I am using the Glam Fair demos. perhaps its just a learning experience. I shall be sure the skin has an applier. Thanks for your help. I could be back. LOL

I'm using Omega System Relay Hud For Catwa and Omega System Relay Hud for Maitreya. Am I missing somethig?

I've gone through the mesh body addicts blog however I only find how to work with the body. and I do believe I have that down pat. It's applying the skins to match the head and body together. Its just not working. very difficult for me to figure out.

I recently returned to SL after being away for some time and when I returned, there were mesh bodies and heads. It took me a while to get a grasp this new mesh. After trying many demos (I'm still using my classic head) I went with the Maitreya Lara body. I am not comfortable using it. However, I have now been fiddling around with the mesh heads...catwa inparticular. And I've been having a hard time getting the skins to apply to the body and head. I got some help from someone who told me I needed the appliers, Lara body and catwa appliers. but it doesn't seem to be working. Is there any webpages or youtube videos that can have instructions. I wouldn't say I'm an expert at second life because i'm use to the old system avis. So these mesh heads are completely difficult for me to understand. Can anyone help with this? Thanks for the reply Myra. I do have a Flickr account and been adding photos but I seem to be short on finding places to go. I follow a few blogs and they list some interesting places as well. I was hoping for replies to get new idea...oh well. I will try out the places you listed. And again thank you.

Bree - I just got the Maitreya Lara mesh body. but before that I had I believe it was LAQ body shape...just classic avatar. I assume I can't modify these then. I'll have to try out a generic one and see how that goes. I just see people who have modified their shapes considerably and I feel like add a bit more meat to mine. lol.

I've been away for a while so I'm trying to figure things out again. I'm trying to tweak my avatar's body such as breast, legs, head and so on. However I'm not finding an option for that. I click me and then appearance and I have no options for tweaking. I use the standard viewer....LL I believe they call it. Does anyone know how I can tweak my avi? Or what am I doing wrong?

Welp, looks like it'll be all new shoes for me. I'm sad to say I don't know what invisaprims are so I wouldn't know how to fix them. Lol.

So I've been away from SL for a number of years so this mess stuff is still new to me. I've gotten the hang of the clothes and adding mess clothes to my wardrobe more and more. I've been trying to master the mesh body with a demo but it's been an epic fail. Anyway, I have tons of clothes and shoes from my earlier years that I can still get away with. However my shoes seem to not fit right and I'm wondering why? Does it mean I can no longer use them? It would be a pity because I have a ton of shoes. Oh good advice. I doubt I have the need for either. I recently bought an iPad...and I only use my laptop for SL and chatting online. Very generic. I'm on my iPhone or iPad. I know, why not get an apple laptop....because they are so pricey for what my needs are.
