    Thanks Rolig, for all the info. although I don't understand the linkability rule :-(  Scripting is something I have not learned anything about, so it is all greek to me at this point.

    The megaprim history is interesting and you answered several questions I have about them.  I was wondering if a sim could support them and if they would 'act right' when used.  I have picked up free packs along the way, and will experiment with them, and modify as necessary.

    Aeromia - I see the same thing, and there are people that actually like the bling things.  Some dance sims have contests occasionally that ask you to wear 'your best bling.'

    Premium Land Question

    More questions about Premium Land/ Home:

    1.  Can you change your choice of homes once you choose a certain style?  How do you do that?

    2. Can you delete your chosen home and put items from your inventory there?

    3. Can you build on the 512m plot or change plots to a different location?

    Several questions:

    1. Can someone either explain the steps or point me in the direction of good instructions for how to align prims?  I am using the latest version of Firestorm, and have watched a couple of YouTube videos and searched the Firestorm Help sections but can't seem to get the hang of it or find good info :-(

    2. When linking prims, how do I get groups of linked prims to all link?  I often get a message saying the prims are too far apart to link, but know there must be a way because houses with many prims often rez in one piece;

    3. Why did SL stop using megaprims?

    Building simple boxes for inventory storage

    Arielle - I have been using boxes to store items in Inventory also.  After you create the box, open up the tab labeled 'Contents,' then drag and drop the items you want in that box under 'Contents.'  I know boxes can hold a lot of items - not sure how many, but when it is getting full, it takes a couple of seconds for the box to process/ put the item in (at least it does for me.)

    Question for all: does anyone know of a good Inventory sorter that actually works? I have seen a couple offered in the MP, but not sure if they work well.

    Dear Land Owner - I am interested in buying/renting land for a residence only.  Below are my lists of 'Must-Haves,' 'Preferences,' and 'No Interest' items.  If you can meet most or all of my Must-Haves and Preferences, please send me a list of your available and relevant  properties or a web link on a notecard, as my IM's are capped, or post a reply here.  I can assure you I am a good tenant; quiet and I pay on time (usually early, and a month at a time.)  Thank you for your help!  Red52

    MUST-HAVES: Privacy; privacy walls/ borders allowed, or land comes with it; Moderate or Adult rated; Region/ Estate land only; Sailable/ swimmable water on a minimum of one side of parcel; Landscaping allowed; Security Orb allowed; minimum of 2200 prims; Terraforming allowed, with ability to get down to water for pond/ streams; off-sim items allowed; access to friendly and helpful customer service responses usually within 24 hours; Land size: 12,000 sq.m. - 16, 384+ sq.m.;between $2,000L- $3,500L per week rent/tier;

    PREFERENCES: Prefer grass, will consider mix of sand/ grass; Sailable/ swimmable  water on more than one side of parcel; prefer Corner parcels, but will consider others if more Must-Haves are included in it; would be interested in Lake/ Forest parcels (same prim/ cost & area) if has sailable/ swimmable water available; Residential only, but will consider Residential/ Light Commercial.

    NO INTEREST: no Homesteads; no Skyboxes; no 'Sailable/Swimmable' land that can be created by terraforming parcel after purchase/ rental; no parcels that advertise a number of prims available, but have Owner items on them that are included in prim count.

    Make me an offer I can't refuse! :-)

    Hi Perrie - I did find the Derender option - pretty cool tool! 

    Does anyone know if there is a way to derender a bunch of items at one time (especially if they are not linked)?  Also - any idea on how many items you can add to the Blacklist (in Firestorm?)

    Hi Perrie- thanks for your reply.  That's exactly what I did - turn down the draw distance so I wouldn;t see most of the stuff.  I was just curious if LL had a way to eliminate or reduce this kind of clutter. 

    It seems LL would want to do this to help land owners in being able to rent their properties better.  This is the first time I have rented on the mainland, and I do like it but have heard (or read) somewhere that a lot of people don't care for the mainland - is the clutter one reason why?

    Hello, I have recently noticed a huge amount of stuff in the air around the parcel I am renting.  It's things like platforms/ plain prims, odd shapes, boxes for advertising?, and other (what looks to be) assorted junk.

    How does LL get rid of stuff that may have been left behind by someone and they are no longer using?

    Is there a way to tell when the object was created?  (I know how to find owner/ creator);

    Is it possible to get this kind of stuff removed from the sky, and how would a person go about doing this?

    Firestorm -Problem with Parcel Music

    Hello - I did a clean install over a month ago, for Firestorm 4.6.  I am renting a parcel and am included in a group.  I cannot get music in my parcel, although I can get music in other sims sometimes.

    I can hear other sim sounds, just not music.  I have music streams, etc. enable in Preferences.  I am running Windows 7.

    I cannot find a solution in the Firestorm wiki.

    Please help!

    Land use ideas

    Hello, I had an idea while searching for land to purchase/ rent recently.  I don't know if its been done before.  My idea is to have a business that is a 'one-stop-shop' for land rentals/ purchases.  You could have the land companies pay you to 'rent' an ad space, and residents could visit the sim for a ton of info right at their fingertips.

    I literally spent DAYS and tons of HOURS looking for just what I wanted; most of my time was spent looking through the Marketplace and inworld Search to find listings & companies.

    I would think this could be a successful business, as there apparently are a LOT of companies/ land for sale & rent.

    Help with modifying..

    Hello, I am new to building and do not understand all of the shortcuts yet.  I bought a home I am modifying, and am trying to line up the walls at the corners.  Is there a quick way to 'snap' the corners to each other (I read something about 'snapping to the grid' in an earlier post, but don't understand what I am looking for in the Edit box.)

    Can someone post detailed instructions here?

    I am using the Firestorm viewer.
