Hmmm it says do like this: How to change your email address You can easily change your email address on the Second Life website: Login to your Dashboard. On the left, click Account, then click Contact Information. Enter a different email address. Enter your current password for verification purposes. Click Save Changes. I entered another email. And I used my account for logging in as verification. Can the varification for the email be something else I chosen? Is it the same password I use to log into 2nd and when I buy Lindens? Or can it be another password I have chosen? Since my email I want to change at moment is hijacked I can't let 2nd Life send varification codes to that email That is my problem at moment.....

Ty for your reply....It's not my 2nd Life account that has been compromised. It's the email I provided here as I started at 2nd Life, that has been hijacked. Thanks god I have no information there on that email about second life that way, But I get messages from here to it. I will try the way they discribed how to change email and then type here again if it worked

I know that this isn't the right place for this question, but I didn't get clever on where to post this else. I have tried to change my email account here at 2nd Life, since like 9-10 months back in time. The problem got worse today when I sat and read my emails from another email account I have. I got a message from my email I signed up with here at 2nd Life soon 1½ year back? I tried to log on into that account but it said that it seemed someone was using my account. I have a safety email (or well, I had that until I recently moved irl) . To that email one varifiation code has been sent to me tonight. Problem is that I changed my Internet leverantor as I moved irl some months ago. First thing tomorrow will be to check with them if they can send me the varifiation code that was sent to my old email, so I can get back my hijacked email. I have no clue of what I have chosen as password for my email here. I have tried with my log on password, in the box under my Email Address:, saying: Current Password: (for verification) And I can't get that to work. If that safety code that was sent to my old email address, (The email I had via my former Internet Leverator) If it can be given to me from my old leverator, that part will be solved pretty easy. I know that I can't ask for a new code for my email here, because then that code for varification will be sent to my now hijacked email account....siiigh I really don't know what to do "if" my old Internet leverator can't send me that varifiation code, of how I can change my email here. Very grateful for all good help you can provide me. Can I get a verification code sent to me instead, to the email account I use for payments? Because to the hijacked email account it can't be sent. Thanks in advance/Sara By the way. I also went into another 3 d site, where I still have my account. I just added what new email address I wanted. Then one more time and then confirmed it with the log in password I have for that site. All fixed and done. But here at 2nd I can't for the world remember what password I once typed?

I don't get this at all??? When I right click on one object and choose edit, then the item just shows as transparent with lines around the item......Next thing happening is that when I then grab the item by the tools, well then the object turns 100 % invisible? and "you" have to guess WHERE it ends up?

That sux so bad.....ok we can go by sence of feeling but before this happened to ALL items it was just a very few items like some balls that acted like that. When you jumped upon em they didn't show as u moved em but next check u could see that they had moved........Now ALL things to like that siiiiigh I hope that this soon will get fixed. Hugggs Sara

I don’t know what happened, but last two days when I try to adjust and set accessories or editing and moving furnitures, they disappear as soon that I start to mark & drag them. And I don’t see, when I drag them, that they actually are moving. Not until after I close the tools and then I see it. I see the lines and the blue line is for where the item is located at moment. At least I think so. What bad setting may I have at moment, causing this? I am using Firestorm. Hugggs Sara

Well I hope this will work.....For HOME and TP home I had first to set the landingpoint to (none) in prefs _> General ->About land..... I am aware of that Nails are shown very diff with diff. viewers too. No I don't want to set the Nails more than just add em...But since 99 % of all Nails i put on stay like 3 cm's from my fingers the soloution was to get those one that I can modify each Nail at a time.....the others i can't move but these i can.....and only one pose stand shows exactly how it will look after I have placed em to fit. I will when i have toime look a lil deeper into what u have written AND ty for ur replies. HUGS / SARA

I have soon been a member of 2nd Life for one year and I love it so much :) Each day I learn something new and it just get more n more fun the more you understand. 2 things I can't figuring out tho, are the following things: When I started here my Nails I placed (Wear) ended up like 1-3 centimeters from my fingers (they still do). I learned as well that all depends on which pose stand I am at, of how it's shown and so. I have good posestands and some are good for setting the nails placements, while others are perfect for setting heels etc. Anyway, I have my hands set at 30 in size and most nails support 10, 20 and 30 for hand size. I have also seen ones that support size 40. Well, all these Nails have most often the so called "gloves" and ppl have told me to just wear those gloves and then the nails will fit perfectly. As I read about it myself it has to do with matching tones of hands and such. Well I dunno? All these nails will not fit my hands. Instead I was lucky to find a nail creator/seller, that make her nails modify. Then I noticed that the one stand I have show the nails exactly how they will look on my hands after clicking stand and leaving the pose stand. Other pose stands don't do that, of those I have so far. The thing with these kind of nails that are modify, is that I can set nail by nail and also the rings on my hands coming with them, one by one at the time. Okay this is so lucky this creator excists, because without her, I would have been forced to skip nails.Now my question is. Does anyone know of what I might doing wrong here. I would have love, if it had been that easy to just buy a good set of nails, wearing em and that's it "done" and have em good matched in just one click. I have tried to select face as well to be able to move one nail at the time but no, that doesn't work with the common nails. The other thing I am wondering a lot of, is the following: Some week ago I got a new home and got me a new smaller rental. Start point at that place is now happen to be placed just under the one part of the house that aren't attached to the ground. I have from different places in my home sat landmarks to be able to faster reach right area at my home. I sat a point in my home and saved it as my "TAKE ME HOME LM". It works that way when I log on I will be sent there when I log on. But if I am out in World using the option "TAKE ME HOME" I will end up at that very spot under the house and NOT where I decided it should be. Well then if I am at another scene and either by menu choose HOME or any of the different LM's for the home I will first end up UNDER my house ;) And then next time I click the created LM I choose, it will first then take me to the right spot I created as a landing spot. WHY can't I land at the created LM first time? And why does it work as soon I click it again?Thankful for all good suggestions. HUGS!!! Best Regards: Sara

I want to cancel my Premium Account and go to Basic. My only land is the LL gift. How do I delete that Land and go to Basic? Ty in advance for any tip solving this. I mean if I had known that gift should force me to keep Premium I would never accepted it. Well I maybe never had that chance either. It was maybe automatic too? Anyway there must be a way to remove it, IF my Premium remains because of that home. Hugggs Sara

Okay now I have checked up the following: All there stood under OWNED LAND in my Viewer, was: Allowed Land holdings at current payment plan 512 square meters Current land holdings 512 square meters Available for land purchases: 0 square meters When I joined 2nd Life I was also gifted a home at the region "Octarine". I mean it was a free gift from 2nd Life. I had no clue about till I now got these good tips from you all. Does this Little home affect my total settings? And if so, can i get rid of it? How do I do that? I have not donated any land. So that is not it either. Hmmm I go nuts. If you have ideas of how to go on from here I am more than grateful. Hugggs Sara

I have a major problem I think and now I hope for good help to solve this problem. Well I started at 2nd life in mid July last summer (2012). I signed up for 3 months Premium membership, that then after that goes on and charge me for 3 new months via recurring payment to 2nd Life, via my PayPal After 5 months my best friend here told me I didn't need Premium, to do what I was using 2nd life for, so I went to my page for my Account Summary. I scrolled down and marked the little circle for Basic membership. This was around mid December last year. I then thought all was fine. I have noticed that the dollars I added to the "US Dollar balance" have decreased slowly from 90 dollars to now 32 dollars? I happen at some point use the dollars there when I made a buy via the MP. I usually am very careful to un check using my dollars there and use my lindens I have instead. Now the amount of dollars have decreased again from around 61 dollars to only contain 32 dollars. My best friend here told me to go to the page named: Account Summary. I did and marked the little circle for basic membership. Under it it says: """""* Downgrade Warning: If you choose to downgrade from Premium to a Basic membership, all Premium benefits will be lost, and re-upgrading to Premium at a later date will gain whatever premium membership benefits are in effect at the time the membership is upgraded. This time I looked more carefully of to the top of the page after I had clicked CHANGE MEMBERSHIP and it says: """""An error occurred while processing your request •Basic users may not own land. Only and first time I found that my PayPal account was charged the amount of $ 28.13 was the 25th of July for Premium Membership. After 2nd time (I was charged for 3 months of Premium) which I never found in my PayPal history. I have canceled those Recurring Payment To 2nd Life. B U T...... I now found out that I was charged for Premium Membership as I looked at: Account History (Last 45 days): Zarahigh (So I am not crazy here you know ;) 04/25/2013 22:13:51 - Premium membership (Quarterly): $22.50 $22.50 ($39.16) So I really starting to wonder that if we once sign up for Premium membership, will we then always be charged for Membership with no way out from it? I went as well to my PayPal account then 5 months after I started and canceled those payments to 2nd life concerning Premium membership. So now I wonder if 2nd go on taking those dollars i piled up at the page where we can add: US Dollar balance? I will take Contact with em as well and ask em to check if it still goes on with these payments? And I dunno if I got all wrong from start as I started 2nd Life, but at times I was not able to buy things via the MP. After some time I tried to add dollars to the US Dollar balance page and Voila I could then make sure it accepted me buying from the MP when using my PayPal. (only at rare occasions at beginning). I will go to my PayPal account again and try to figure it out once more how to stop/cancel the payments to 2nd Life for Premium membership. Because as I was leaving the 3d site of IMVU as one "VIP" I stopped those payments at my PayPal site and it worked at once (okay had some month with "VIP" (Premium here) left) and thought case would be the same here. But no? So first of all it claims I am one owner of land? Which I am so not? This leads to that I as it says must leave my land first to be able to go Free membership!!! How on earth then? Well first of all I'm sorry for mixing up the offset and height ....I was just so into it, that I used the wrong word, but yes, it was about the offset I was typing.....Okay it's good you can even ""save as"" And if that means that we do one setting for each saved fit and then never again for that saved shape with "those" heels it's a smart thing that way. But the way to do this now is 1. Much more steps than Before. 2. Way less precise and done in way bigger steps and not at all like the fine adjustment posibillities we had before......So that is not good at all I think... About the settings via PREFERENCES----->GRAPHICS .....I marked those 2 Squares again.....BUT.. (okay sea came back n Environment looked way better again ....The fact still remains that my breasts shine is so strong that the breasts at some angles when i move..... all of a sudden is SO SO WHITE....and not showing if it now is the SHADOW/OIL/SHINE......No...now that thing looks crazy bad.....Very thankful for ideas of what to set and by what numbers? Well I saw that the sea was not showing at all with the settings I made..*lol*...But if I didn't change it my oil/shine/ on breasts are like100 % dead white in tone as shadows moving a lil over em. Other parts of my body like nose and so on turned 100 % White with those settings. Prob. it's other things we need to change then. It says all settings are back to basics. Well I like it so far as well, but hope that such things like shine/gloss/oil n so on stop to look white. Thankful for any help on that one.....What settings are bad if looks show up like that? Well, I will for sure learn a lot next few week about it. First 2 things I had to fix, was the thing that gloss/shine was all white and to prevent that I unchecked the 2 boxes: LOCAL LIGHTS and BASIC SHADERS...and it looked way better again. (Found under Preferences---->Graphics) One thing that is very sad though, is that they moved the thing of setting our avatars height from the tab: Quick Preference. Now we have to rightclick our avatars....choose Apperances and choose the tab: BODY...... It is set standard at 50 on the slider....and you can drag it or type in the box ...higher number = You go higher up n lower vice versa.... But these are FAR bigger steps and not at all as smooth as Before when we via the Quick preferences could set like 0.00 and even as small Changes like 0.05 and -0.05 etc. Now one step up 50->51 or from 50 down to 49......Lifts or lower your avatar so much much more in one step than before, when u could be very precicely about that. ALL solved now....The old HUD was having a configuration problem and the creator really tried hard to solve this with 5 new sent heels to me And then finally YAY it worked Mwah to all Hugggs Sara

Hi all! It’s difficult when such things happen as what now happened to both me and my girlfriend. It’s not about that the buys destroyed our economy, but for the cause of it. I finally found the most lovely pumps (mesh) here. These heels took just 2-3 hits making em larger to fit and then snapped em on legs. It took 2 minutes. When I put on the heels the skin for the feet is very pale as a preset and that I wanted to change pretty fast :) Now for the problem. As I opened up the HUD. A very simple HUD indeed, with settings ONLY for the changing of the skintone for your feet. It has 10 preset tones at the left side and then has a vertical and a horizontal line you can drag up/down left/right. And by that you should be able to fix your tone of your feet pretty easily. It also has a box where you can type in the colors/tones by values. But no, nothing changes, regardless of effort, because this HUD is corrupt. I made contact with the creator which led to a chat at her place. Well, there the creator gifted me a new pair of the same heels. This time the skin was a little too dark by preset? Ok I thought they may work then. But no... The creator's girlfriend was there too and both wore the very same heels as me. The seller told me to look at the girlfriend's heels as she pulled the slider (well the two lines inside the HUD) and yes I saw very clearly that it worked. No matter how hard I tried to get mine to do the same it didn’t happen. I told them it’s hard to understand what you mean, because as I drag my “slider” or click the preset colors or typing in the color nothing happens, but I will talk with my girlfriend and ask her to help me. I went out and bought the very same heels for my girlfriend and yes, the skin of those heels were just like the first ones I bought. Very pale and with no ability whatsoever to change the tone/color for em with that HUD. My girlfriend made contact with the creator and who promised a chat just like with me the day before. (Has not happened, yet). Then the creator told my girlfriend that the heels had sold 15 pairs and that no one had this problem, ignoring the fact that I had mentioned it the day before. OK, of that we can arguing about till death. I think more who complain or state that this HUD is just not working, the greater the chance they will improve. Often, I think that people don’t take time to type about such things. Or newbies give up and think they are the ones to blame. Not seriously expensive heels, not at all, just perfect if it had not been for the bad HUD. The creator also says we have the wrong viewers? The creator did not recognize Firestorm as a viewer. I think it’s a shame when such things happen. When I was totally green here and had HUGE problems with setting heels, I got so much good advice from sweet caring people here. I even got chats from the awesome creators Debrah and Viktoria von Brandenburg and they really really helped me out..I am happy there are such sweet caring people out here at 2nd life. I went to the MP and had a look at defensive shields. There are so many and I don't really know what one would be best for me. Many are sole about combat n stuff like that. But I found one cheap on that also described a little of that when you are wearing it, you will also be protected. I will try it And ty so much for the good tip Hugggs Sara

Yes....No bad ideas. But I would love to have a completely right to get rid of a such person period. Instead of having to meet the person and always have to "play" on that persons terms! I mean if I don't like a person because of something happened. I must have the fully right to protect myself. I think that should be very high in priority here and anywhere else. Best regards: Sara
