Hello, I have a quick question: Does anybody know whats up with Riz Designs? I went to their store to look for castles, but i noticed their land is set for sale. Well the store is still there, but its only question of time until somebody buys it. Are they planning on closing? Would be very sad because i am saving up for a castle that i want to buy in the near future... Abby

I used to have the last name "Carter" on my first account. It was very popular too but you don't see those names anymore inworld. And later i had Little and Bloom as last name. But i've cancelled all of them. Well now i created this name "AbbyFraser" because i wanted Fraser as a last name. So i simply set my display name to Abby Fraser. But the Resident thing can still be confusing and sounds silly behind my name. But maybe now with the new CEO i am hoping for a chance to get real last names back. I don't want to have to pick a name from a list of last names (some of those last names were ugly) But maybe they should add the ability to make up your own last name. Maybe someone could make a suggestion to LL? would be cool

Are the Last Names still (or again) being discussed? Well, look at my name i created the name "AbbyFraser" (Display name is Abby Fraser) because i wanted "Fraser" as a last name. But scripts still call me "AbbyFraser Resident" which sounds silly. My suggestion would be: When people join SL, they should be able to make up their own last name aswell. Not having to choose from a list of (sometimes ugly) last names. But being able to make up your own First + Last name would be cool.

oh i see. Well yes i was talking about those "lookat hints"... Sometimes they stay gray in front of the avatar, sometimes they become blue for a few seconds or sometimes they stay pink. I was just wondering if bots can do that too. Someone told me if an avatar has that then its NOT a bot Abby

Hello, ok maybe a silly question, but sometimes i see avatars that are like 6 years old and look like noobs... but are still using those camping places where they can get a few L$. And i've heard about those "smart bots"... but those avatars all have a mouselook thing. (the ones i saw). Can those avatars be bots? Or can bots have that mouselook thing at all? Abby

oh i see. But normally people would rather pull their L's when leaving SL and sell them for dollars, right?

Hello, I've noticed there are quite a few people who apparently keep their classifieds active, so they would show up in search. But the store is gone. And when i check their last login in their group, it says something like 12/2012... Why would they do that? Just leave SL but keep the classifieds online? That doesn't make sense. Should we (or can we) report them to LL so they can remove the classified ads? Abby

I would say that there is more competition now than there was a couple years ago. And people are too lazy to advertise. I used to see many more adverts on the mainland, it was almost like spam. But then people started to remove them. I first joined SL in 2004 and made new avis sometimes, just to move on and get away from drama. I am sure others did that too. Well, i know some people who did. So i believe that many people who supposedly "left SL" are still around. If a designer wants to quit and do something else, they could simply make an alt and move on. And there was lots of bots in the old days, sometimes you never knew who was a bot and who wasnt. So yes, lots of places are losing traffic. Some places have closed, others have opened. Its just like in RL.

i used to be in a group that pays group dividends every once in awhile. It wasn't much though, maybe 3 L$ a week lol... But are there more groups that pay dividends? And which ones?
