  1. I'm looking for a hud based script that can detect when specific avatars enter a region. To elaborate, this script would need to be notecard based to store the avatar keys and give some sort of alert when an avatar on the notecard enters a region. I've searched all over for this type of script and can't find any, I guess my search parameters were quite good enough **Only uploaded images may be used in postings**://secondlife.i.lithium.com/html/assets/emoticons/mattemotes/crying.png" border="0" alt=":matte-motes-crying:" title="" />. Any help would be greatly appreciated

  3. I'm honestly surprised by this quick action, thanks LL! I just hope the griefers responsible throw a hissy fit when they discover their new toy is broken.
  4. The best defense out there costs nothing, infact every avi already has it. Just rez a box, and have a seat, and maybe fiddle with your viewer settings a little bit. Griefers only have the power YOU give them, and by fighing back you are sinking to their level and giving them the ability to send out an AR on you. Just sit back and enjoy the show, they'll get boarded soon enough and move on once they realize you're not going to play along
  5. That is correct, no permissions were given to be teleported. All the individuals I was with recieved the same message "you have been teleported by an objected owned by..." with their names spoofed as the owners. One individual I knows has two bots operating on the sim this occured and one of them was teleported along with us. It was force from it's base and sent on a trip to several sims, finally ending up in a heap on a bronie sim with several other bots who had the misfortune of being forced TPed
  6. A group of friends and I were hanging out today when out of the blue all of us received the message "you have been teleported by an objected owned by....." in my case my name was the owner of the object that TPed me, and the objects that TPed my friends had their names as the owner. All of us were TPed from a no script, no build, no push sim, to The Corn Field (which by the way is a very interesting place) and then to a weapons sandbox, then back to The Corn Field. Each of us had to relog in order to get back to are starting point, because trying to TP via landmarks failed and we wound up right back at The Cornfield. From what I personally saw several sims were hit in this fashion, including a bunch of poor Bronies
  7. I love my friends, I really do, BUT there are days when I want to go inworld and build without dozens of IM's and random friends TPing to me (they know where I build so tp there on the chance of me being there) Right now I have some scripts I REALLY want to tryout in world, but I know if I uncheck the little "see if on-line" box I'll be hit with an ungodly number of IMs wanting to know why, and threats of defriending for not being trusting enough." LL really needs to fix this issues by making the default status as off line and an opt-in option if you want people to know if you're on line or not (friend, group, neither, or all)
  8. Yay, I was able to log on AND finish my build, I still had some minor inventory issues, but nothing I haven't seen a hundred times before. Now that I've said that, I won't be able to log in for the rest of the night.
  9. This is what I see everytime I try to log in, it's been that way since the issue was reopened
  10. They've shut down logins again. While I was on it wouldn't let me rez anything, nor take anything, and when I tried to TP I was booted.
  11. Ya might want to pull a LL and unfinish this thread. I was on for 5 minutes and I got the boot and now the same ol' errors are popping up.
  12. Iggwar wrote: bleh opengrid / other private sl servers are sparsly populated at best. moast of the sims are run on acient systems or with poor bandwidth. you wont have anything from sl either. i dont reccomend them for exploreing at moast i use them for build testing befor i part with L$ for uploading on ll grid With the Phoenix viewer, and probably many others, you can upload to SL for free (I don't know about mesh uploads though). It's a temporary upload and doesn't last more than a day or three, but it's brilliant for testing stuff before paying for the upload. Alsi there's the beta grid (is that still going?). You pay for the uploads there but the money is free. What you upload there, doesn't come into the proper SL. It is (or was) great for testing before paying for uploads.
  13. I've lost all faith in LL, if a Linden were to tell me 2 + 2 = 4, I would have to look it up and double check them because nothing the say/do makes the slightest bit of sense.
  14. I'm still getting the "logins have been disabled until further notice" message
