To change your choice of Linden Home type, you must abandon your current Linden Home and then register for a new one.

 

To abandon your Linden Home:

 

1. Choose World > About Land and click the General tab.
2. Click Abandon Land. After you confirm your choice, the land is removed from your account.

 

Now if you wish, you can register for another Linden Home.

you will find this answer in the Knowledge Base, up top you see the tab.

[What are good places to go to after clearing all caches?]

yes its normal to log back as a cloud, you caches is now downloading.

if its slow, restart your internet.

and check your shape and hair base is loaded.

if not reload them, if you get message, still downloading outfits, you still downloading, go to a emply sim, there be low lag there, so your download will be faster.

[how to get items out of boxes]

• Drag the box from your inventory to the ground to rez it.
• Right-click the box and choose Open.
• A window opens. If the box has many contents, it can take a moment.
• Click Copy To Inventory to transfer the box's contents to your inventory. If the box contains an outfit you'd like to wear immediately, select Copy and Wear instead.
• Once the items are copied, they appear in your inventory as a folder with the box's name. If you don't see it, click the Recent tab.

When you have finished unpacking your box, please remember to either Delete it or Take it back to your inventory to avoid cluttering up the area with boxes.

page 1 at the bottom click  Graphics Cards

Check out the section  What to do if you having graphics problems.

click on the green  Intel drivers for ( updated driver)

once finish there.

go to page 2.

at the bottom click  How to improve viewer performance

Follow Boston linden and rand linden tips.

it will all help to reduc lag but remenber, your internet is slow for SL.

You may like to talk to who it is that supply your internet.

you cannot let other people use your accout, LL do not allow that.

lots of people do this, but they will have the account block if LL find out.

so all the money you put into that accout is lost.

and your work.

and LL may still ban you, you have two sets or rules that you have violated.

but you will be given a change to put your side if ban, but the account is lost.

just make a new one, and try using the old name, if LL shut down that account the name is now open for reuse.

lots of people get that.

your not loaded

your hair base or shape is not loaded

press  control + i

look for outfits folder and open the folder.

pick a outfit and open it, you see lots of icons

the sq with a little person in it is normally the shape, click on it and from the menu pick wear.

the hair one, well there only two icons that are hair, so click on each one and pick wear.

or if you not sure, click on each one of the icons and pick wear.

once they are all high lighted, you are wearing them.

if one is not hight lighted, click on it again and pick wear, until it is high lighted.

[Why do I always have to right-click to see objects?]

great computer.

what you are getting, I get to.

its normally lag.

after a sim crash or to many people running sriptes.

some time I clear my caches and that clear it up.

but a restart of the hub can to.

some days if there not alot of people using SL, Its great.

but I think you need to move your hair up, its set to low on your head.

click on it and pick edit click on the up arrow, and move the hair up a little.

and you could more the graphic up from med to high, my one set at high.

Review the rest of your preference settings disable any unused features:

2. Try disabling settings such as Play typing animation, Name tags, and Arrow keys always move me.

Even minor items can add up to significant improvements in performance.

there a little box, click that  confirming you buying the goods.

the rezzing of invisible big objects over the help islands has been reported but LL have not taken action, the avatar that do this are know and been reported.

all you can do is click on the object and AR it.

you can only get deformed if you take things off people, and be careful, if you wear the item they give you, it may deform you.

which can be put right,

if you are deform, and do not know what to do, go to  Help at Caldon or spain, or Brazil, they all have anti deforming tools.

remenber do not take things off people at the help islands or safe hubs.

click on your self and pick, remove all objects, that will remove the hair shoes and all things that are not outfit.

just reload your hair and shoes.

[What can I do to protect myself, my account & my business?]

first you need t report this to your local police.

no one has the right to threaten you, your hurt you personally.

tell the police that you feel your personal safeyed is under threat, from this person.

if you are reporting it to a English police officer, best to write to the home office to and tell them what is happening.

British police do not like to work and will do nothing, unless the home office tell them to.

your pass word is your inworld protection, do not tell people what it is.

and change it to help protected your self, once a month could be a help.

hope other can give you more input, you can report this to LL, the AR is not the only way to report to LL.

All u need to log into secondlife is you avatar name and password.

if you foregot the pass word, you can get LL to reset it, but you need to answer some question.

like what was the last loccation you were at and what was the last thing you buy.

you may need to restart the hub at your home.

trun off the power to it.

wait 5 mins, and trun it back on.

start your viewer.

once you see the viewer window, at the top of it there the menu tabs.

if you have LL viewer click on the tab me and open the preferances

or if not click on the file tab and open preferances.

you need to clear the cache file.

open each tab in the preferance window, until u see a cache file button, click it and then ok.

there is more then one caches file button in my preferances. ( clear caches) button.

so click them all, once you done that, click apply, ok

then restart the viewer.

now log on you will appear as a cloud at first, but this will clear, and you will log on as normal after that.

remenber to clear your cache file once aweek.
